Could you separate the traits into their own packages by any chance? I don't need the alcohol, but the sexually awkward and pervert traits are interesting to me.

I'm also not seeing the drink buffs. As above I've removed mods, clean save etc. I wondered if MCCC game speed may have been an issue, but also tried with default speed. Very strange

As there is other mods that has been deprecated or discontinued a few updates back, that some might want to still use.

So if the only change that have been done between a version, that made the mod incompatible with an earlier versions of the sims then is it possible to get that version before that change was made somehow?

The traits cannot be separated.  In the beginning, I tried to design them as independent but I couldn't get it to work.

This was completely rebuilt after the mod breaker update because everyone said it stopped working. So unless you've stopped updating your game it won't work. Here are the old versions for sims 4 2020 Skarrds_Pervert_trait.packageSkarrds_Sexually Akward_trait.package

The Public version is half of the mod, maybe thats whats giving problems(?).

Today I`ve played for a while. And yes,i have the same problem.I didn`t use any other mods.no matter how much I`ve drunk I can`t get any buff about drunked.

These aren't supposed to work on an updated game. They're throwing exception files. Or at least they are for most people. You are playing a magical version of the sims 4. I'm glad they work. I can no longer update these as they were made with a tool that no longer functions.

In your case, because you're only getting 2 buffs, that could be a conflict with another mod. Cover the basics. Make sure your game is up to date. Make sure to test you have put one of each trait on a couple of your sims and see what interactions you get. They are dynamic so if you have a couple of perverts, they don't have a lot to say to each other yet.

The public version has been thoroughly play tested and everything is confirmed to be working. So I would look for another possible problem.

So far, we haven't been able to come up with what's causing that problem for the people who have been having that issue. There are a handful of drinks from the bar that don't get users drunk. About 3-4 of them including water. But I doubt you are buying the same drinks over and over so I'm not sure.

@skarrdeverything appears to be showing on my end except the hard nipples buff the one with a llama symbol on it.

 

i tried figuring out what it was but i don't know i 50/50 and didn't figure out what the issue was before why the drinking buff and debuff's wasn't appearing.

 

and i was on the current game version as well. game patch - 1.93.146.1020

as you can see one of the buff from your trait has a blank lama symbol there also these sims only had your traits on at that time.

so it seems to be making two of the same buffs or debuffs at the right end. it's always the very last buff or debuff as you can see from the photo there's two of the same buff one with a photo and one with a llama symbol not sure whats going on to cause that.  everything else with the mod seems to be working perfectly fine.

I am aware of the "ghost" buffs that can appear. It seems to be a byproduct caused by the tool I'm using when making proximity buffs. (which this mod uses a lot of) I have put in a repair request but the tool updates are out of my hands. (I've got about 10 fix requests in there) So yes the buffs all work, and I'm so glad to hear that you got the drinking buff working now. It has been elusive what is causing that issue.

All righty I thought I dropped it off in case you didn't know about it or something other than the ghost buff the mod seems to be working as intended. And also to let you know that for whatever reason I got it working and whatnot a follow up basically

Your feedback is very valuable and I appreciate you taking the time to tell me what happened. So all the mods that were in your mods folder are still there but now for some reason it's working. Isn't that baffling.

Yes that is correct all the mods I had before experiencing that issue I still have them all in right now and as you can see the mod is working for some reason. Did everything the exact same way before I wasn't getting the Buffs. Yeah I don't get it either it baffles me as well.

The only thing I did was cleared local cash and that seemed to fix it in the mods folder from what I can tell. You know the files you're supposed to delete when you add a new mod in

Have you tried installing the mod, then add the traits to your characters, then save and exit the game? I have no idea if it will make a difference but it was a thought that might be worth trying. And of course make sure you delete the "localthumbcache" file in you Sims 4 folder.

If you don't mind me asking what's your game version. if you don't know there's a game version text file in your Sims 4 documents folder that tells you.

the text file would look like thisGameVersion.txt
