Custom Portable Mannequins anyone??

There are a couple existing mods that do some of this but

 

 

Ever had a house with space but not enough mannequins??

Tired of playing a Kajhitt and having Nord mannequins in your house??

Tired of looking at a sea of male mannequins and wanting female ones??

Wanna have %NPC% dressed in %outfit% ?

 

Wanna have a few mannequins that actually look like YOU??

 

 

wanna try a few outfits out on your kids/followers without them running off??

 

 

So do i  so i propose a mod that

1 puts a number of "blank" mannequin items in a chest or in a shop

2 has a menu setup to customize the mannequins after they have been placed

3 includes a list of NPCs and or grabs the character setup menu to edit the appearence

4 hooks into body overrides so that the models are correct for the current game

While it's not precisely what you're looking for, I do have some suggestions for you.

 

Unfortunately I no longer remember the name, but there are several mods on the nexus that make all mannequins literal copies of your character, appearance, species, the works.

 

But if you want to carry mannequins around and put them wherever you like you should look at this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52583/?

Jaxonz Positioner lets you reposition, pick up, lock down, rotate, resize, etc, any furniture item that exists in your game, without having to install a special mod to put it in. I use it to put an Oven and Hearthfire Churn into Adventurer's tent. Spawn the item by typing

 

help "item name here" into the console, then

 

player.placeatme (item console code) 1

 

And it will give you the furniture item, Grab it with the positioner and move it wherever you want, or shove it in your pocket, just bear in mod it's heavy if you do that. If you don't want to look up the code every time, you can make an easy bat file for spawning them, as they're in the vanilla game and their item code should never really change, if I recall correctly.

Yes there is a mod on nexus that does exactly everything you want, now I cant find it though.  Basically you can have any race/model spawn you can scale it to any size you want and then use jax positioner to move them anywhere you want. I had little orc statues/mannequins on all my nightstands, lol.  It uses the body of your character exclusively though.  You can go into your mesh file to change that up too if you really want.  I will keep looking, now I think I want that mod again. If I remember correctly you had to hit the mannequin with a weapon to bring up the options menu.
