Defeat's animation selector causes freezes.

Hi all,

 

As the title suggested, whenever I use Defeat's animation selector function (originally the ")0" button), my game freezes.

This only happens in recent saves after starting a new game. Old saves could use this function perfectly fine.

The weird thing is I can still open up the console and even add items to my character, but I could not do anything else as everything simply becomes unresponsive.

 

I'm not entirely sure why this is happening. Any suggestions to fix this is welcome.

Hmmm... a few possible fixes.

 

Have you tried entering "enableplayercontrols" in the console?

Are other NPC's still walking around? If so the above fix might work.

Have you installed Sexlab Tools? It interferes with Defeat's animation selector by using the same scripts differently! If so, use the animation selector from Sexlab Tools instead.

I do not have Sexlab Tools installed. And my entire game basically froze so nobody is moving at all but I can still use the console commands which is weird. Yup I have tried enableplayercontrols, it does nothing though.

follow the advice of the above... but i should also add that the animation selector is from sexlab (not defeat).  Defeat also uses 0 for an in game options menu when you are not in an animation.

You can try changing that hotkey and see if it prevents the "invisible" selector from coming up.   

 

otherwise.. as they say above.. just press tab and try it again.. it's just invisible the first time.

Hey guys! I've finally found a fix. Turn out the animation menu DOES popup, it's just not visible? After pressing every possible key on the keyboard it randomly stop "freezing" and when I press "(0" again the animation menu now pops up properly.
