Remodeled Armor HDT Conversion

Recommended Posts

Hey, don't know if I'm supposed to put this here so sorry if I'm not. I was wondering if someone could make and HDT conversion of MAK's Remodeled Armor No Panty Mod. The original, I am aware is HDT, but this one isn't. If somebody can convert this, I will love you forever.

And also if you are going to try, convert the Vanilla Replacements in the Optional section.

Thanks!

Oh and also another thing. The original MAK's remodeled armor seems to always change with my body, even if it's custom. But this one doesn't and if someone could tell me why that would be great! :-)

Download the original then download nifskope. Unzip the original rar/zip Open each _0 and _1 armor nifs in nifskope and right click the panties and go to block - remove branch then save as to overwrite the nif make sure to do it to both from each set otherwise it'll not change in game. Once done if the original has HDT it's now be HDT without panties.

You can also "Zap" all the panties using Bodyslide. The only annoying part ist that you have to do it all over again if you want to use another body preset.

Here's how to remove panties using bodyslide (which I'm sure you are using).

Open bodyslide, select your preset.

Above the "Save" and "Save As..." buttons, there should be a box named "Group Filter" with a magnifying glass icone.

Click on the magnifying glass, and hit "Choose groups...".

Scroll down until you find CT77 Throwback, check it's little box and ONLY this box. Hit "OK".

Now, in "Outfit, Body", select one armor, for example "CT77 TG".

In the "Low Weight" section, select "ZapPanty". It should check the cases in both Low and High Weight sections.

If you click on preview, you'll see that the armor has now no panties, but the ZapSkirt may be in the way so make sure to also check this.

Now, hit "Save", it will save this choice to the preset you have previously chosen.

Check "Build Morphs" at the bottom left, and hit Batch Build... and finally "Build".

Once the batch build is done, go back to the magnifying glass, hit "Choose groups...", uncheck "CT77 Throwback", and do another Batch Build with "Build Morphs" checked.

Okay, I'm really stumped. I thought the original was HDT but apperantly it isn't. When I have my armors purely this mod HDT does not work with them. But in my older armor file which is a mash of multiple armors, the ones from the original have HDT. Any ideas?

@Pristbeast

Zapping is only good if the panties are attached to anything if they are not attached to anything it becomes pointless as you can delete the panty mesh out of the nifs faster with nifskope then you can zap them out of the nifs using outfit studio.

They could of come from some else who updated them to HDT.

You can use bodyslide's outfit studio to add HDT to anything you want. There are many tutorials out there if you have any questions and you can also ask here if you have a question.
