Can You See Both Sides Of An Argument?

I can. Sometimes it's a blessing and sometimes it's a curse.

If you're Solomon it would be a curse because when faced with the 'Baby Problem' you would see both sides and when you said 'split the baby in half' that wouldn't have been a test--that's exactly how the story would have ended.

'Okay, who wants the top half. Good. So you get the bottom. Stop crying--it was a fair decision. Now go away--you bother me.' :P

FIXED (PS: Spelled argument wrong and can't change it--click not working. I'll PM Ashal.)

I realize there's a language barrier with you so you don't get some of my 'jokes'.

See, I see both sides. :P

And by-the-way, your avatar is very annoying to someone like myself with OCD.

Oh, such a rabbit hole of a topic, really, to me. The older I get, the deeper the hole.

I remember once taking a graduate level philosophy course and my entire grade was based on a paper. I chose to tackle Thomas Kuhn. Going in, I was thinking I would be able to show for myself why he was wrong. Thing is, in order to get an A, I really had to understand his arguments. My professor was brilliant and not easily impressed. Long story short, I got an A and did impress my professor, but I'd also fallen into Kuhn's rabbit hole! I "knew" less about reality and truth after than I thought I "knew" before.

There is an old saying... "The wise man knows that he knows nothing, the fool thinks he knows everything." :D
