Lady Body mod taken down from nexus?

I have no idea how up-to-date this version is but I found it on a Russian site and uploaded it to mediafire.

I just hate this copyright s*t. She used DAZ body... so what ?! Is DAZ body created from nothing ?! I don't think so.

I'm pretty sure BAB's(?) Body was derivative of a model used in programs like that if my memory isnt crap, I think they got permission to use it though. It's still bullshit though, especially when she could drop it on any file hosting site without any issues whatsoever.

I guess though the question is, is there conclusive proof that this mod had content repurposed from a Daz/Poser model, or did the guys over at the Nexus take action on a hunch.

My Russian is not that great but if I understand correctly (hope I have go this correct) that LB does contain content from a Daz model. However, DAZ licence their models for use in games.

 

If that is the case though I can see that would cause issues, because although the model is licensed for use in a game, I do not think it is probably allowed that a model be distributed independent of the game.

I agree with you, dante needs to know his place, he thinks he's the god on nexus, he also banned me without any strikes and they say in the rules that before ban a person will get 3 strikes. Bunck of un professional lossers

...but if we are gonna bust out our collective legal numchucks...why not just occam the whole dang thing and claim fair use...

Boom head shot...even in US laws. Just as long as Krista does not make dime one from it, it is considered Fair Use...and not much can be done about it.

....Unless that is, they are just trying to avoid the costly legal proceedings (aka engaging in lawfare)...which can get just as financially cumbersome in legal defenses. (at times worse than the judgement passed itself)

The problem is that the "copyright holder" may go after the ISP that hosts the web site and make trouble there, most ISPs will fold without looking much less checking and will never put up a fight on your behalf.

 

Suddenly you have no host ISP and may not even have most of your content. That's why Nexus lets the AssLicker (yes I know his sig says AssKicker but it's in how you read it) get away with what he does.
