EvilReFlex Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 The Title says it already, is there no way to export the meshes from Sims 4 Studio to a other format as *.blend? I know Blender is free, but I don't want to use it. I tried this version: http://sims4studio.com/thread/1523/downloading-sims-4-studio Looks like it can only export *blend.
TURBODRIVER Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Hey EvilReFlex! Sims4Studio team made a whole plugin for Blender that allows exporting and importing animated rigs with the S4S application. The only way I would find it working is if there is a way to export the animation timeline itself from 3DS Max to Blender because converting the model with the rig is probably possible. I don't have much experience in Blender or 3DS Max, but the technical limitation of importing animations requires a blend file so if you can't easily convert it then the answer is no. I would assume that you should be able to convert bones movement between Blender and 3DS Max, but I don't know what are the differences. If nobody tried that before, it's up to you to research that. Good luck!
EvilReFlex Posted April 7, 2017 Author Posted April 7, 2017 I don't want to use Blender, if there is no way without it I have no mood do make something for Sims 4.
