I thought this would best be it's own plugin instead of being included in SexoutBreeder. I had this idea months ago before I started gecking but I hadn't had the ability to actually do it until now.

 

During a spore carrier related pregnancy, after sex completes with another npc one of two things can happen. If the players partner was male he falls over dead and is turned into a spore carrier that will follow you around. If the player's partner was female she is implanted with eggs and will start her own spore carrier pregnancy.

 

I've tested this a bit and it seems to be almost completely functional. In female - female couplings the player needs to be the one "giving" (For instance in sexoutsex, she needs to be the one licking the other) for it to work properly. In Female - Male, she needs to be the one receiving, which I think is almost always the case.

 

Anyways let me know how it works for you. I've got a few more ideas I'd like to implement but if you can think of anything just let me know. Keep your save from before you start it and have fun.

 

Load order doesn't matter as long as it's near the bottom.

Update1: Changed the warning message to only display the first time you load the plugin. I can see where that would get annoying how I had it before.

Hi I'm really interested in this "spore carrier" thing, how does it work? Like what will I need to download to make it work or is it the attachment the only thing that is needed?

 

I saw in the SexoutBreeder thread that spore carrier and other things were mentioned so just wondering.

Actually it might be funny just to do one play through and totally bork your game.... imagine getting knocked up by a spore carrier then getting enslaved by Marissa at the Legion fort.

Are there even any essential NPCs? Companions only in normal mode, and two robots. Unless by essential you mean plot wise?

No, I meant literally essential, like can only be knocked out. I didn't realize that mostly wasn't used in New Vegas.

Their over reliance on essential NPCs does bug me at times. I am guilty of setting a few NPCs to be essential though, mainly companions and anyone involved in escort quests.

 

One day I hope for them to develop follower AI that actually realises that running in front of you rocket launcher is actually a bad idea. I suppose it would have been far better back in the turn based fallouts. (shame I can't stand turn based games )

hmmm I do have to wonder if the benefit gained by forcing that message into your brains is worth the minor inconvenience.

Nope AI was always bad. Either they would run in front of you to the enemy or the would use the burst/explosive weapons without regards for anyones safety. Especially Marcus and Sulic in fallout 2.

This is relevant to mah interests, so I gave it a shot.

 

 

 

Started in Novac, consoled in a few Spore Carrier Rapists. Banged one of them via the SexOut Sex Key and got knocked up.

 

Afterwards, sexy times with any male PC would occur as normal (again via Sex Key mod). After the knockout phase of sex, they simply vanished, and in their place was a full grown Spore Carrier Offspring (Adult).

 

When I tried to infect Dr. Ada Stratus though (again again, via Sex Key mod), the game froze after the knock out phase of sex. Sad face.

So other than the one freeze it's working all right for you then?

 

I have the same problem, but with all woman in game. the game always froze after the act! must be a bug. but it is still a great mod:)

if it's freezing for all sex it's not this mod. Your sexout install is probably incomplete/messed up.

 

Glad you like it though. It really is fun to play around with.

 

It only freeze by women (by having sex with my PC). Men work normal, they just transform into sporecar. like they should do.

If i deactivate your mod all the sex (with men/woman or other things) work normal again. And if my PC isn't pregnant from a Spore Carrier it work with both men and woman without freezing, even with your mod activ.

Ok let me rephrase that as I kinda didn't read what I put before posting.

 

What I mean is, If a infected female has sex with the PC can the PC carry the infection and spread it to other female even though he does not change into a spore carrier?

or a unique player STD. So when a infected female has sex with the PC a unique STD/infection is caught.
