Archive perhaps but delete would be not so good. Lots of valuable information could get lost that way. Not to mention hard to find mods.

I have spent a lot of time attempting to get LL out there to the masses of gamers and mod authors alike I think one thing that LL could truly use to help do this is a donation pool which could be used to, maintain the forums, purchase ads of our own and to fund modding competitions.

Donation pool for maintaining the site is a good idea but as for the other two it most likely wouldn't work. Most people use the Nexus compared to LL so they would most likely not come here for competitions due to the nature of this site.

 

Even if they did come from the Nexus to here I would say a high percentage of the users at the Nexus are under the age of 18 so they wouldn't be allowed here anyway.

 

While the ads idea is a good one there is only one issue. This is an adult site, there is no way you are going to be able to advertise a adult site over the internet in places we need our adverts to be, it would only be allowed most likely on other adult websites which again limits the user base we can get hold of. In the end it would most likely cost more money then what we would gain.

Sometimes I can be soooooo dumb. I've invited quite a few Nexusians to come over here if I like their mod but they've never come--never occurred to me that they might be underage. ARRRRGGGG!

well if we all donate then that's the only reason that made ashal keep working on this site, u know we cant expect anything free though we could lend a few dollars to this site i wont mind donating this site because i love the community here better then anywhere else so i think u know donating isnt a bad idea.

 

but u know when people liked the idea " donating " don't ever push modders to donate we donate whenever we liked i usually donate stuff saparate account and not using under same name.

 

instead using ads ashal can use alternative way make LL it's own private paypal account and then let someone trustworthy to handle the site donations its hard to find one nowadays.

u know never trust nexus member they snitch you out like a rat when they want to now i'm not siding with nexus and their own little game just because im a ex modder there doesnt mean im siding everything on nexus people sugarcoat that site alot and made that site look garbage.

Other than than spam bots (which nobody care about anyway) the only recent person was Prophour (at least that is all that I am aware of anyway).

 

Actually they had a huge fit and quit themselves, wanting their account to be taken off and their posts to be removed or something like that. I hope they aren't allowed back period either, they attack people at random because they have issues. They even attacked me for some reason, I have never even talked to the person before or really cared about their "work". As far as I know, only AdBots have been banned.

Using GSBmodders idea of putting ads out there: I would personally pay for an ad to be put on Nexus (through the advertising agency they use) if Ashal okay's it.
