Devious Devices Compatability

I've been away from modding Skyrim for awhile and I'm looking to start fresh so everything is up to date. I've always had the issue of going overboard with the different devious mods and they tended to have compatibility issues or overlapping animations. Just wondering if anyone can give me a list of mods for the optimal devious device setup that works well together. I've found other compatibility topics but nothing specific to this, but if I'm wrong just point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

DD mods are generally compatible with each other (that's the point!), but there are a few really old ones around that didn't get updated in a long, long while. Those might cause issues with newer builds of DD. Generally, if a mod didn't get updated in more than half a year, check its support thread to make sure it still runs fine.

 

Personally, I would say as basis use:

 

DD Assets/Integration/Expansion

Deviously Cursed Loot

Captured Dreams

Shout like a Virgin

 

For most, these should be all the DD mods they will ever need. They are also guaranteed to be compatible with each other.

 

If you want to go more heavily into the slavery theme, you can also install Simple Slavery, Deviously Enslaved, and SD+. But do NOT use the generic "help me out of my restraints" dialogues from SD Dialogues, as they can still break DD quest by removing quest items.

That may have been my issue last time around. It always seemed like something would break along the way and i'd have to load an older save or be stuck in place. I plan on playing the game normally with devious devices on the side so using those as a basis should work fine for me thanks.
