I kinda remember someone name Ghrolath who made more skin-tight versions of the cocoons. I wonder how those could work.

For the meantime, this is really great.

used it loved it, tried to convert to bodyslide, failed etc. only issue is removing the main character body when cocoon is equipped. otherwise even without specific animation, it feels like cocooned victim is being carried away by other forces.

Poblivion made a mod that replaces the silk cocoon with a latex one. It works with Chain Beasts too.

It is a pity that the topic of latex cocoons died out. I would like to have a latex cocoon in insidious devices. I would like to be able to put it on captives or get into such a trap in insidious devices.
