[QUESTION] [SEARCH] undead mods

we have a lot of good stuff here involving the dead and messing with them but does anyone know of any mods for the undead? from new races to companions, spells and maybe more adult things involving ghost, draugr and even new creations? i've seen a mod for a playable draugr that uses a human model and animations which had me curious about what else is out there. can anyone point out anything good?

Sadly, there aren't very many undead mods. Very few necromancer mods, and most of them are out dated if not all of them. The few/couple more "recent" ones aren't really THAT great either.

 

You'd have better luck finding mods for the Predator mod (from Alien Vs predator lol), than undead mods. Which is actually very sad That predator mod on Nexus is near DLC quality, despite it being not the most fitting for Skyrim. Yet no DLC quality undead mods, just a random alien one.

 

There ARE vampire mods (though not even many large ones of those either, and none that are up to date from late 2016/2017)), which are "undead"...but not like skeletons/zombies/necromancy and what not. 

 

Most games, undead are really lacking and are usually made out to be the "enemy" (makes sense, but then you can't play as them which is lame lol and most games still don't do that much with them). Only WoW really does "undead" really well with Forsaken. Plus the scourge is better undead than any game.

 

No idea why undead aren't more focused on, since so many people like to play as them or/and command undead and all the lore and what not. Yet they are the most lacking "common" enemy of any game.

 

Also this reply turned more into a rant about the lack of undead and how lackluster most games make them out to be. Sorry That always happens when I talk about undead in games, because they can be done so good like in WoW...but so many games suck at doing anything with them. And I've been waiting years for a good DLC quality undead mod, but nope lol.
