Installing FNIS through MO yeilds issue i dont know how to fix

IM trying to get all my Lovers lab stuff installed correctly.

 

This is my third full skyrim install JUST for the purposes of getting these mods to work..

 

This is my first attempt using MO.

 

Trying to get FNIS gives a response:

No game data on top level.

 

I tried using the buttons to set data directory but it doesnt do anything.

 

I would rather be sure i did it correctly rather than fudge around and mess it all up.

 

Its been 4 days since i first tried to get these mods to all work.

 

THe closest i came was getting the dialogue options for NPC's i quested for, and telling them to have sex with me. I got as far as "follow me for sex" and "strip" but options like kissing, only yielded us standing on each other. And no sex was ever started or given.

 

I find the fragmentation of the mods and lack of "how to use" very frustrating. Technical things like, You MUST direct towards a bed or something.. I just dont get any of it, and im not a coder so its not common sense to me..

 

Alas, my first and foremost issue is getting FNIS working through MO, i know theres an executable file but i cant even get to that point.

You didn't install FNIS so nothing will work.

 

No game data on top level is simply because of how the FNIS files were packaged. MO couldn't find the data folder. You need to set data directory as in the attached image. then okay

 

Then you'll need to add FNIS as an MO executable. Run it to register animations.  Then go in game, Install SexLab and everything should work now
