N3v3r3nding_N3wb Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I'm trying to edit a mod in Creation Kit, but I have my mods installed through Mod Organizer, so they're in separate places from the normal Skyrim folders and where Creation Kit is installed. Creation Kit can't find the folder my mods are installed in, and I don't know how to show it where they are. Does anyone know how to get it to find the mods? Thank you for any and all help/comments!
vinfamy Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 run Creation Kit via MO (ie. the same way you would run FNIS User Tool) - CK will detect all the esp and esm You may have some problems with compiling scripts though - so it depends what type of editing you want to do.

I tried installing it already (Edit>[create title]>[click the ellipses after Binary]>[find "CreationKit.exe"]>[Double-click it]), but it comes up with an error message (attached).

My MO's setup for the CK looks like this, maybe copy these: Title:Creation Kit Binary: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\CreationKit.exe Starts in: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Argument: (empty) Overwrite Steam ID (ticked): 202480

I fixed that and it launches now, but it doesn't detect any of the mods.

N3v3r3nding_N3wb Posted March 31, 2017 Author Posted March 31, 2017 The Steam ID should be 202480 I think I assumed that it'd be unique for every download, but I'll try it... 'Tworked! Thank you a lot.
