HanPL Posted July 9, 2012 Author Posted July 9, 2012 Games are legit since this dudes sells tons of old classic games. But 1 mil €... Unless somebody had to much money they where just trolling the seller. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=481684 http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/725710/ultimate-gaming-collection-sells-for-over-one-million-dollars-on-ebay/ http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.381374-Million-Dollar-Game-Collection-Sells-on-eBay http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/18/t1744377-most-amazing-video-game-collection-ever-being-sold-at-over-1-million-usd/
Ark of Truth Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 When a news clip comes in saying the money changes hands then I will believe it. I'm not saying they are not legit, I'm saying the sale isn't.
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I'd of bought it if I had that kinda of money. Seriously, having every single game boxed, with the manuals and many of them still sealed is totally the money.
Guest Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Really cool, but definitely not worth over one million dollars. I'd price that at about $10,000-$20,000 at the most mainly due to the fact that all the older games are extremely cheap and that many of those games are bad or complete and utter crap. Interesting find though, made my day!
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 The older games may be common, but how many of them ARE COMPLETE? Maybe the Japanese ones because unlike everybody else, they actually take care of their shit, but how many are factory sealed? The value of a game goes up exponentially if the game has a manual and a box, and the price explodes if it's still factory sealed. And quality of the game doesn't matter; again, value goes up with everything included. I wish I had that kind of cash to buy this sort of thing...

Guest GingerTom Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 (Cries real tears.) Oh, the things I threw out! And don't get me started on comic books--I took good care of my stuff. My cousin said to me several years back "Remember all your comic books? If you'd only kept them? Millons! You lost millions!" Then he laughed. Then I shot him.
