What version is the Creation kit and what version of the game your playing with ??

My CK version is 1.6.89.0 and my Skyrim is version 1.6.89.0

I don't get the "Creation kit has stopped working..." error message, i simple freezes. If i click into the CK window afterwards it's "not responding".

If you are running an ENB, it's most likely sputtering on the d3d9.dll that any ENB adds to the Skyrim directory (where TESV.exe is)

Simply move the d3d9.dll out of the Skyrim directory until you finish working in the Creation Kit (I usually just stick it on the desktop).

This is a new issue that I've only experienced in this CK version. It's a bit of a pain moving the file in and out every time you use the CK, but doing so should stop the freezing when saving issue.

Hope this helps,

dunno about ENB, for me they caused display errors, like none of the models are visible-races,armors,weapons,world objects and terrain, nothing was visible but it atleast allowed to save. maybe try to reinstall CK, might be something corrupted.

Well the funny part is, i just re-installed skyrim today for several reasons, one being the CK frezes, i'm also not using any ENB.

I just don't get it.
