DeltaD36 Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 I know I'm a needy person, but it seems like every single thing I try to fix kinda just ends up not working. >> To get to the point; I'm trying to tie up loose ends with my mods and CTDs. I don't use Adult Prostitution anymore so I decided to uninstall it. However, upon start up the game, and after the 'Bethesda' logo, the game crashes. As far as I'm aware, this happens quite often for others, too. But the Mod site on the Nexus is overrun with hundreds of comments everyday, and there is nothing in the discussions about how to fix this. I'm lazy and don't want to flip through 2700 comments looking for my lone issue. I've even looked through the last 10 pages of the AP Thread here on Lovers Lab and found no results. I just want to get this ironed out before I decide on Uninstalling everything, and as far as I know, this is one that crashes the game when it's uninstalled. The entire damn history about this mod is buggy in particular and it doesn't suprise me at all that this happend. I've actually been aware of the mod I've uninstalled AP 1.9 and FNIS, which was active while the AP mod was active (but the AP.esm was off). FNIS had basically overwritten the files of AP, and FNIS itself worked fine. At one point in time, I used Josh's Animation Patcher but I decided to scrap that after hearing to many bad things about it. I think I did use it once or twice but I reverted the files back after it didn't work. For all I know it might have just fucked me over and I don't know it yet. I'm just looking for a way to turn it off without crashing on start up. :/ If there seems to be no alternative, I suppose I'm content with uninstalling everything and starting fresh. This mod is probably the most difficult one i ever installed in my life. http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=5583&pid=140742#pid140742 But if you want to uninstall it will be difficult to explain without knowing what version you used. if it 1.1 or later it should be just like what the post of mine says, remove anything releated to this mod manually. no script, no source code, no meshes. If it is 1.0 then your fucked. he copied all of his files within it. Making this a dissaster to uninstall. Later version also added bsa witch makes it even easier to uninstall.

[/quote'] I'm looking to uninstall completely. I've only ever used version 1.7, 1.8, and 1.9. I don't recognize anything you posted on there. When I got the first version (1.7), I didn't have SKSE, and all I did was activate it on NMM. I'm looking at the files that came within all three of the versions I have and there is not a scripts folder. Only a mesh folder, a sound folder, a BSA file (which is not in the data folder since I uninstalled AP all together) and a .esm file. NONE of them are in the data folder. Keep in mind; I'm crashing to desktop on start up because it's uninstalled. it's only when it's INSTALLED that I can actually select a save, or actually get to the Main Menu. Update: I've noticed that 1.7 is the only one I have that comes with a .ESP file in it along with the .BSA and the .ESM. I decided to uninstall the AP mods again, and only add the .ESM file and activate it. Without AP being there, it doesn't actually ingage in sex since none of the files are there, but the option to seduce is still in the dialog. If I remove the .ESM, my game crashes on start up again. :/

I had the same problem as you (uninstalled CTD ) and found out that Summon Succubus mod (version 4x ) was causing CTD because AP was required.

Thank you. xD Not only did you hit the nail on the head of of the fact that I had the succubus mod, but it fixed the problem. Thank you so much. Now I just need to figure out what's causing my CTDs and find new sexy companions for my soul drinker Moonshadow Elf. >> Maybe the Succubus mod could be tailored to work for for XXX Adult Show, which now apprently has sex for the spells. ^^
HanPL Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 You can still use Succubus mod. Just download older version (3x ) that allows you to summon 1 succubus instead of 2 and don't require AP at all.

HanPL Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Summon Succubus Twins - 4_0_2 - BETA Is the one that reqires AP to be installed. Old Summon Succubus - 3_2_0 Is the one that don't need AP to work. I really would like if author of the mod would disalbe AP 1.9 as requirements since AP is kinda outdated and everybody uses ASX anyway.
