MBP question, for "beteran" races?

Hello Loverslab, quick question for you all. Using MBP, I have sometimes been able to make characters without what is in my opinion, that annoying forehead teardrop thing. But, on my latest character, I simply can't figure out how to remove the damned thing. I have her as good as I can get her I think otherwise, and I hope I don't have to ditch the time I put into how she appears.

I believe I'm using the latest MBP, according to what is available here, the 1.8 I think? Is there a way to remove that stupid teardrop, anyone? Any help would be appreciated, thank you. Have a good one, -Merctime

Merctime, have you tried using formID finder to identify what mod the meshes/textures come from. I may be from a race "other" than MBP is why I point this out.

Eh, Thank you Greg! I had better go get that mod and install it then, I think. I'd really prefer not to look at that thing on her forehead, hehe. Hmm, I used to have that mod... Need to pop off and download it again, thanks!

Yea, it could end up being a different mod causing it or a texture from a mod that overwrote the MBP one. It gets tricky the more race mods you put in your oblivion folder....

Unfortunately, my Data folder is a complete wreck, and will be until I upgrade my PC. So, I went to download FormID finder as you had suggested, but will probably wait to install it until I re-install oblivion. Re-doing my load order every other day is proving to be... Tedious, hehe. Still, it was good advice! And I thank you for it.

 

I simply chose to change her race to the standard Breton, and no longer have that annoying forehead tattoo thingy now, and got her looking A-OK, so thumbs up there Thanks again! I'll need to remember to keep FormID finder in my standard load orders when I upgrade and re-install oblivion.

Are you sure this is a race from MBP?

 

I think it's added by ES74's Unique Race&NPCs. It looks like the age texture Textures\Characters\Beteran\headhumanF20.dds, so you can delete it, or move a bit the age slider in the chargen dialog to get rid of it.

You know, MrPouit... That is very interesting!!! I will have to look into that. Short answer to your question, No... I'm not sure it isn't from that. However that is strange, as I have yet to download that mod (I think??? As I say, my Data folder is a horrid wreck currently). I wonder, does the new MBP or perhaps some of my citylife/NPC addition mods incorporate this... And thank you for the tip on the age slider!!! I will definitely have to do some testing on that. Kudos man!!
