can some one tell why this is happening ?

Well, look up what line 35 says in FNIS_DD_List.txt. With that info you are more likely to get help.

Also, you seem to have an old FNIS version, download and install the new one.

no i down loaded the newest 1 i think its on my end again looking at my mods and when i did get into the game i had 2 of some things and other wouldnt even show anything so redo 1 last time

Lmao! I just wrote a suggestion and accidentally pressed delete on my phone. So now it's gone.

 

Basically I said the same thing idle said above.

Go to that location and find out where the file FNIS_DD_List.txt came from and whether or not you need it.

Post your FULL generator output.

 

THen you and we can see that you are using an OLD version of FNIS. As the error message indicates.

i think Devious Devices is your problem, not FNIS.

i don't use that mod so i don't know much about it.

i don't use that mod so i don't know much about it.

Exactly.  "Alternate Animation prefix used twice" is the issue.

 

This AAprefix mentioned in the error message is needed by FNIS to UNIQUELY identify the mods using "Alternate Animations". It was not a clever idea by the DD authors to use "abc" for that. I had expected some ething like "dvd" or similar. But "abc"?  :rolleyes:

 

But even worse: one of the other 3 mods in your list that use Alternate Animation now uses the same stupid prefix. And it was NEVER tested together with DD.

 

PLEASE: complain to the mod authors who do something like that. It is NOT a user problem.

No, no. "Animat Animations ..." is only part of the error message FNIS is throwing.

But it also said

And that is a mod that has been included in the base dd mods for a while now.

I'm sure that's where te duplicate "abc" prefix animations are from.

YOU are absolutely right. Sorry.

 

I didn't know that it is integrated into DD now. I always thought that DD was the first on LL to use alternate animations, and therefore has started with that (stupid) "abc". But it actually was ArmBinderCombat which started the use of AA with a (meaningful) "abc", and is now integrated into DD. And DD only increased the number of used animations.

 

But how can poor users and unknowing modders (like me) know that ABC is obsolete? Only the LAST comment in the thread does indicate this.

I had this error for the first time today. Given the explanation by @fore,I was able to determine that I couldn't use both DD and Armbinder Combat, which is dumber than a box of rocks, because, without DD, there can be no Armbinder Combat. 

 

Either by oversight or sloppiness, the Author of Armbinder Combat has rendered the mod useless.
