FuzzyDuck Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Hail!I've a really big mod order, and i've fine tunned it to the best.Rarely i crash, and that, been like once a full day playing. Maybe twice. So, now, the perv in me wants to add some LL mods.SexLab, Defeat, some animation packs and will see what could be cool.So here is my questions. After installing SexLab and some dependences, should i:Re-Do Bashed Patch?Re-Do Merged Patch?Re-Do DSReduxRe-DO ASIS?Re-Do DynDOLOD? <Even if i don't add any new building or lands> I already know that after installing new animations, i'll have to re-run FNIS. Also, about load order. Even through i'll use LOOT, i've edit some metadatas for my personal use, like forcing Ordinator to be loaded after certain mods and stuff. So i would like do know:Can SexLab and the other mods from here, be left for LOOT or would have any problem, to "pack then" into a order and put then on the end of the load order? Just before the Patches? And lastly, there is on the forum, any list, of the Mods here hosted, that can safely merged with Merge Pluging Standalone? (Considering that i've setted up the MPS right and it can handle scripted mod merging) In advance, sorry for any grammar killing, english isn't my native, And sorry if there is a tutorial around the forum with the answears, i'm a potato and could not find it.
MadMansGun Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 . i don't know about any of that stuff, but i do have a install guide that covers the basic stuff like SexLab, More Nasty Critters and the Animation Loader: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/3524-sexlab-more-nasty-critters-install-guide/ i would suggest that you DON'T use LOOT for any mods here because some need special load orders. merging SexLab mods is a bad idea as well, Eg: merging SexLabNudeCreatures.esp with MoreNastyCritters.esp would render it's json files useless.
valcon767 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 ok yes redo the bashed patch merged patch I do not know (depends on what mods you add, check the OP to see what they say there) do not merge sexlab mods (different ESM/ESP files) merging sexlab mods is a quick way to have them mess up normally (the only sexlab based mod I have ever managed to merge without it totally messing up was Sexlab Interactive Arousal {SLIA} and then only by merging the DLC extra esp files. I left the core files alone and merged the 2 DLC esp files into 1 and it SEEMS to work fine for me). and yes I have merged (successfully) other scripted mods but sexlab based stuff tends to be extremely finicky about things (most times they work well but they do NOT like name changes and most have json files that will become useless if they get merged, not to mention other things that require them to stay as made). if you want to attempt to merge them, you can try but in most cases it will break the mods. DynDOLOD no clue I have not done that one myself (probably will not have to redo if you have not changed the landscape at all anywhere), but some of the better mods here do make changes to the game landscape - one example is DCUR (Deviously Cursed Loot) it only changes 2 physical locations, that I know of, but that can be a problem if something else changes the same spot (it adds a house near Whiterun, between Honningbrew Meadery and Chillfurrow Farm closer to the farm, and a shop in Dawnstar, between Dawnstar Museum and the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary just north of there), it also add some stuff elsewhere for certain quests, now that I think about it. so make sure to read the OP on sexlab based mods, and if there is a mention of a physical change to the Skyrim world it would probably be a good idea to rerun DynDOLOD. as for DSRedux and ASIS you will have to check the individual mods op and support threads for info on those (I do not use those myself at all so cannot help there)
vpoteryaev Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Every installation has own features. From old ages I don't use LOOT at all. Own head act better then somebody's Using MO have solved me about mods overwrite issues. Just two things with using MO i have to do: 1. FNIS 2. Bashed Patch. And everything works like charm.
