asdfmovie666 Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Hey Guys i lately got the Problem that some of my mods got this odd Options Description inside MCM. As an example: $LC_XXX XXX= the option description without space LC should stand for Lover's Comfort but it is also on other mods like HDT highheels. How can i get rid of this "$XY_"? Because some descriptions are realy complicated to read if they got this mess Thank you!
Guest Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Probably you removed the files in the "interface\translation" folder. For the mods you are having problems with, just unzip the mod package and restore these files in the correct folder. In case you are using a non-supported language by the mod, then just copy the <modname>_English.txt file and rename it to <modname>_<your language>.txt
myuhinny Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 I have also gotten this before from installing something from overseas. So I always now make sure to open the rar/zips and look at what is inside and delete out any crap if needed like a skeleton or INI files ENB files generally anything that isn't part of the mod or it isn't needed.
asdfmovie666 Posted February 6, 2017 Author Posted February 6, 2017 I looked into the files but it seems to be alright with the names. I also double checked it with other Mods like SLFramework and there are the files the same but in SLF the Options are normal and in LC not. Could it be a Problem that MO Produce as it had it's own File Structure? Thanks for the fast respond
Guest Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Do you know what is the actual mod that adds the "$LC" strings? Probably you do because you know what MCM is. Give me the name and I will check the file. Please also tell me what is the language you are using for Skyrim.
asdfmovie666 Posted February 6, 2017 Author Posted February 6, 2017 It is Further Lover's Comforts and my Skyrim is in German
Guest Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Checked the file (that is on LoversLab.) The original archive has the file for german translations (that is a copy of the English one.) So it should work. Did you renamed the mod file name? The esp? It has to be exactly "LoversComfort.esp"
asdfmovie666 Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 The name of the .txt is "loverscomfort_GERMAN" so it should be alright or?
Guest Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 The name of the .txt file has to start with the exact name of the esp file. If a single letter is different, then it will not work.
asdfmovie666 Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 Ok only my Skyrim didn't recognize the change immediately. I should get more patience
