XcOm04au Posted February 4, 2017 Author Posted February 4, 2017 it would be easy if a video editor had something like what I am asking. but that would be too easy
winny257 Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 it would be easy if a video editor had something like what I am asking. but that would be too easy what is today already simple, I suspect almost nothing more. self that open a beer can requires a precisely detailed instructions. The second set is just a fun.

I have already downloaded software that will convert video files to gif

I have already downloaded software that will convert video files to gif Sorry for the grammar, I do not know what the Google Translater or Bing writes. I thought in the 21st century this would at least work, but apparently this is not the case. Again Sorry. winny257
Vaelorian Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 what is the fastest and or simplest way to convert video formats to gif? what does the gif community suggest. My set-up: FRAPS captures the video. GOM to extract jpg images out of it. (OPTIONAL) ACDSee for image manipulation options not found in Photoshop\easier use of certain manipulation options. Photoshop for image manipulation and gif creation. All in all, I'd say it's less than five minutes to create a gif, and much less if you're making them in a batch (as you can cut down on Photoshop loading times, which to me are significant). If using image manipulation then obviously it can take longer, depending on how fancy you want to make your image; borders and the like are simple and take barely any effort or time, for example.
