In my world's default, the name Geoffrey Landgraab must be equated with a wealthy family, a successful career, fame, ambition, and of course he is quite handsome.

 

His marriage to Nancy was a politically motivated one (my Nancy presupposition is from the old and powerful Goldbeard family), and although the marriage produced a child, Malcolm, he remained quite estranged from Nancy.

 

However, Geoffrey has always lived by the Landgraab family motto

When he meets Malcolm in an art gallery, he thinks he meets an angel. He's in love, and he's so aggressive about inviting Malcolm to dinner until he sees Malcolm has a wedding ring on his finger.
