Equipping shield unequips Dark Brotherhood Cowl bug

I've come across this weird bug ... and I have no idea how to fix this. It only occurs when I equip shields. Un-equipping them doesn't re-equip my cowl. Do you think maybe it's a left over script from Auto Unequip Helmets? I'm not sure if I ever installed it on this playthrough, but I do remember using it before. It didn't work so I just uninstalled it and kept playing. 

 

Anyone have any ideas? Maybe it's a currently mod I have installed? I tried cleaning my save with Save Cleaner, but that didn't do anything.

I think your Dark Brotherhood Cowl use Slot 39 (for Shields).

You can fix it, in NikSkope change the to - for example 57 (shoudler).

 

And in the ESP change the Slot to 57 in the Armor Addon and the Armor.
