markdf Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 It looks pretty cool, but a lot of us don't install mods through Steam. It makes a big mess in the Skyrim directory.
Robert_jj Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 I want to try this mod, it sounds like a lot of fun, but as already mentioned, please make it available outside of steam
philyb Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 i would like to test it out, but as mentioned - steam isn't preferable because of the mess it makes.
MoreForMe Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 How about putting your mods on Mega.nz, some other file sharing service like that or at least on Nexus instead of stupid Steam Workshop thingy???
markdf Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 How about putting your mods on Mega.nz, some other file sharing service like that or at least on Nexus instead of stupid Steam Workshop thingy??? Or, like, the Nexus? Nexus gets a lot of grief, but it DOES handle big files... as long they're not pornographic and you don't post hate speech on the forums or comment sections.
woodsman30 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 So what is so different about this mod from your others? did you ever fix all the bugs your other mods have? some of those bugs can break peoples games perhaps you should warn them and stop recycling the same mod under a new name with of course the same issues. just saying
Morferous Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Workshop has been broken since early 2015. The damn thing is loosing mod data. Problem does not affect all players, but looks like it can strike any player and has a high change to become persistent. I would avoid it like a plague. It does not look like Bethesda and Valve are going to fix what they broke, when they were preparing Curated Workshop. Their call. I would strongly recommend uploading these files outside Workshop. I know that Nexus is not an option for you, but there are other file sharing sites out there. Many people will avoid these mods, just because they are in Skyrim Workshop. It may work well for you, but it is certainly not working right for all.
Drakemasta Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 *clicks download link....... loads steam page then clicks back* no thank you steam is the last place i will go to get mods for skyrim or any bethesda game.
