Ixum Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Howdy peeps. I am looking for someone to do a port of Dante (DMC) for Skyrim in the same fashion as Me4Fan did with some of the Mass Effect characters http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/121-me4fans-companions/ Any takers? Khajiit has coins.
Kaz Aanh Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Dis is illegal ya know. You can't request people to use/steal assets from the other game and add it to the Skyrim for money. It would cause a lot of problem for LoversLab. Depending on the difficulty if you want a simple rig or rig + expresions, price would be quite high anyways. You could always ask in the requests subforum for to do it for FREE. And if you like X person its not breaking a law when you tip a coin to his donation jar. Ofc if he have one. Not everyone runs a donation jars though & most peps are modding it for fun & free. And its perfectly fine to share borrowed (ripped) material for fan-art purpouses and you definitely shouldn't benefit by earning money from it.

I agree with you, also i think that the idea of commissions in mods is something not very nice for loverslab as a community, and not just talking about copyrights. A mindset might pop up that associates mods with money, the same junk that Valve tried to pull. No offence to the person who wants to spend his hard earned money on this, but i believe the "commisions" come too close to "pay to play" for mods, in which modders change the status of their hobby to that of their main job!
