adrenaline Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Nice but she is more like anime style than human (face proportions) Contact Japanese if you want a human-like "doll".
thesapien Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Nice but she is more like anime style than human (face proportions) I'm sure many Japanese would be flattered to take full credit for being the first to do stylized art' date=' but let's be honest. They weren't. It's actually more rare to find realism in art history. Have you seen a Barbie doll? [img']http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/18/Barbie_Fashion_Model.JPG/220px-Barbie_Fashion_Model.JPG[/img] The 1959 original: Contact Japanese if you want a human-like "doll". That was my first thought. Seen those, too. But can we talk about them here or only in the adult section? Wait, isn't all of LL for adults?

thesapien Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I personally think love dolls can be a positive thing in a person's life. And since sbire added a link to realdolls, I thought I'd cover the rest. http://aidoll.4woods.jp/ http://doll.lifedoll.net/ http://www.orient-doll.com/ Okay, those are just some of the most expensive asian versions, but really the rest can be found at http://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=68 The manufacturers are organized by price with some very tasteful ones that won't feel like buying a car, more equivalent to purchasing a new computer. But once you get below the $1,000 mark, well, they certainly get lighter and easier to handle and store! Some of the really cheap versions are shady and risky to order from. I especially advise staying clear of the Candy8teen dolls unless you don't mind dealing lots with customer service and returning damaged products while fulling documenting the opening of your boxed delivery with a camera to prove your case.
