Is it possible that you can separate the skin and use it as an add-on instead of Default? That would be great

Can you tell what's the point of this? Since all details adjusted for this skin, I think it's more comfortable to have it as default. But you may use other non default skins if you want and if they fit.

The point is that some of us want to continue using another skin by default, but if this skin work as an add-on it can be used in other Sims and they can have different types of skins with better adjusted details that in other skins

This could work too as a skin overlay too but in doing so would lose quality in texture and behave differently under lighting conditions etc,

 

It's possible but I dunno how much work would be involved but it's not gonna look as great as this one

 

 

I use Better Body as Default and some details do not look good, less in other skins used as overlays over the Default 

 

I think it's too hard to adjist the same details for different none default body types (if it's possible at all), that's why I make and test them with default body type.

As for make this skin non default, I think it's pretty problematic thing because default skin contains different ages and different musculature versions and also fat/thin ones. Non default skin is usually made only in one of these and there is a big problem to make different non default skins for all cases.

 

 

Well, I asked because I have, and I have seen different types of non-default skins and they work well. But it seems that it is more difficult than I thought to turn the default into an add-on

• Tan lines : 6 types of one-piece swimsuit tan lines added (can be found in tattoo section).
• All existing vagina types reworked and improved so that they look more complete, 5 new types added.

 

 

Downloaded the mod, see the one-piece tan line package in my folder, but it doesn't show up in CAS.  Any hints as to why?  Is there a known conflict I'm missing?

First I thought you have some another mod for one-piece tanlines slot, but they take the same slot as bottom tan lines. There should not be any problems if you see bottom tan lines in your tattoos, you should see them both. I have no other ideas.

Huh.  Well, I removed the Bottom pack from my mod folder, thinking that there was a conflict with the one-piece.  I went back into the game, and the bottoms were still there as if I'd never removed them and still no one-piece.  So, somthing is screwy here.  Might just be me, for some reason.  Be good if others could test that.

you should always make a clean save before adding or taking out mods in your mods folder.

1- drag out your mods folder to desktop

2- load a save but & save as- clean save (save from the map menu dont click to play a family) then exit game

3- sort your mod folder out ie- take out or add whatever mod you want in your game

4- delete the new mod folder & the localthumbcach.pakcage in your sims4 folder then drag your mod folder back into sims4 folder

5- load the clean save you made & make a new test save then exit game

6- load the test save & play. everything should work fine.

 

reason for my reply is cause i have just downloded this earlier & i deleted the old version & added the new one + the pornstar cock mod by doing the above and it all works fine in game.

Okay.  I followed those directions.  No change.  No full body tanlines.  

I took everything out of my mods folder except this mod.  Nothing.

I took everything out except the full body package.  It doesn't even show up in the menu.  The file is there, but the game isn't seeing it.

 

The only thing I haven't done yet is redownload from here and try a new file (maybe my first download got corrupted?).  But if that doesn't work, then I would suggest that something is wrong with that particular package that needs correcting.

im sure im just and idiot, but how do i see the other options when it hits the bottom of the screen, like half the pubic hair options and half the vagina options are cut off and im to dumb to find out how do scroll down. thanks in advanced

There is no scrolling there but it's strange that you have some options cut off, I have them all visible:

What do you mean saying two-piece swimwear? There are separate bottom and top tan lines isn't that what you're asking about?

I don't remember for sure, probably I didn't make them namely for basic swimwear. Well, I think I should make them in this case, I'll look into it. Thank you for your suggestion.

does your game resolution were 1366x768 or even smaller ? i have this issue as well with resolution 1366x768, 

try to move wildguy pubic hair to uppermost list in cc, but if you cant move it, then try add some cc skin so you can move wildguy cc to uppermost list (but i didnt know how cc are sorted in cas)

There is no scrolling there but it's strange that you have some options cut off, I have them all visible:

I don't know such mod, I guess it's impossible. Unfortunately we cannot create independent slots for custom details, we can only duplicate existing ones that's why we cannot use different details based on the same slot at the same time.
