Font is very big - Never touched Darnified

My dialogue font in NV is very large, resulting in me having to scroll a lot in the dialogue windows. I remember installing a mod which had an install screen pop with a "font" option and I also remember ignoring it, thinking foolishly that I could change it later.

Now, however, I can't remember that mod for the life of me. Below is a list of all my installed mods. The only thing with fonts I find, is Darnified, but I never touched that.

If anyone could point me in the right direction to get my dialogue fonts to vanilla, that would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Try resetting your INI config files to vanilla. Fallout.ini, FalloutPrefs.ini

Located at C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV\ Move or delete current ones. Run FalloutNV to generate new ones.

So you didn't touch Darnified but if you did touch other font mods check this anyways, example below.

Darnified on the left, default vanilla on the right.

I've resetted them, but no change. Weird. It must have been something in my imagination. My font section in the Ini looks exactly like in your screenshot.

Are there any simple to install dialogue font mods, perhaps?

Thanks for your help so far. :-)

Isolation Test: Disable all mods, launch game and see if the issue is gone.

If so - 1 by 1 enable your mods until you find the culprit.
If not - Then it's loose files you dragged, dropped and forgot (dirty install, bad) or relating to menu/font mods that don't use .esp files.

Off the top of my head possibly check these locations:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\textures\fonts
or
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\Menus

Do you keep the archives of downloaded mods? If so check your Downloads location for what ever mod that could have caused this.

Might also be useful if you post a screenshot of what you see.

I hadn't used DarnUI, so that was not the issue. However, I've now started using it, and it solves the problem, so thanks for bearing with me. :)
