Yea click it and your browser does all the requests and than you see this thing popup if you want to save it or just temp save it or cancel and than when you click one of the 2 first ones you start seeing a progress bar!

use the mouse pointer on the download link click with left mouse button and a new menu should pop click save as and direct it to directory you want to save the file. Click ok and your done.

i have to wonder if he's talking about downloading or installing. If he doesn't know how to download i'm going to take a shot and say he's too young for this site. err rather too young for a computer.
