username421 Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Hey, all, I'm new to the DOA modding scene and blown away by all the quality stuff both here and around the 'Net. I have an idea for a costume mod I'd love to see, but I have no idea if it's even possible, so since this seems to be a fairly non-judgmental place, I figured I'd ask here first: would it be possible to dress Mila in her MMA gloves, headgear, and a bikini? If so, what tools and tutorials should I look for to go about it? It might be odd and a little impossible, but there's no harm in asking, right?
Guest C3S4RFC Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 You can try to make a request in this thread http://www.loverslab.com/topic/66650-doa5lr-mixed-mods-clothes-from-casual-to-sexy-new-nyotengu-shiny-black-thigh-highs/ This has a lot of mixes costumes for doa girls
username421 Posted November 26, 2016 Author Posted November 26, 2016 Just put my request up. Hopefully, someone's game. Thanks for the help.
ach22 Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 That sounds easy to do with L&R studio. I could probably work on that next week. Which bikini do you want?
username421 Posted November 26, 2016 Author Posted November 26, 2016 That sounds easy to do with L&R studio. I could probably work on that next week. Which bikini do you want? If you can manage it, I'd prefer the one featured in this mod: http://kasumilovesmods.deviantart.com/art/VBikinipack-598598617 If it's too tricky or I need the creator's permission, let me know and I'll pick something else.
username421 Posted November 29, 2016 Author Posted November 29, 2016 While I want to thank ach22 for accepting my request, I got a little impatient and decided to start fiddling around on my own. Adding the gloves and V-bikini to Mila's nude model was, for me, a technical and visual nightmare, so I decided to start simple and go with no clothes. I took the Mila TMC from Segadordelinks' DoA5 Topless Pack, a nude TMC and mesh from (I think) Harry Palmer, and Harry's texture reference packs and just smooshed them all together. After some trying and erring, I came up with this: Now if I could just get the bikini on her, I'd be in business. Then again, I'm not sure I want to.
username421 Posted November 30, 2016 Author Posted November 30, 2016 Turns out the answer to my original question is "yes." Hell, why not throw this shot in, too...
username421 Posted December 4, 2016 Author Posted December 4, 2016 More modding fun...if, by "fun," you mean "farting around with Polygon Tool and Noesis for four hours trying to take a character's hands off when you've never edited a mesh in your life." End result was totally worth it, though. This time, I combined the V-bikini mod I used before with a boxing outfit for Mila I found on Zetaboards. I adapted it for Sarah with ABC Transformer.
