Mod Description

Every found yourself in one of the following problems?

  • Running low on ammo and no where near a shop?
  • Crippled legs and unable to move?
  • In an area which you can't get out of because its scripted to shit?
  • Just plan annoyed that you can call in allies but not call in supply drops?
Don't worry, here at ArkCorp we have you covered! :D

This mod creates a holotape which can brought and then used in the Player's Pipboy. When used the Pipboy will connect to the ArkCorp network allowing the player to request supplies to sent to them. Simply connect, order and it will be placed in your inventory. (But thats cheating?!) All orders require caps, they are at a markup and have restricted purchasing options meaning that it will cost you more to buy from ArkCorp but could safe your life.

More information to follow.

Mod Goal

To create a supply mod which isn't overpowered but works well with survival. After all whats the point of being allied with people if they don't wanna help you?

Unlocking Service Upgrades and restrictions

Unlocking services is easy. All the player needs to do is go to the service option in the network and purchasing the relevant upgrade. After purchasing the upgrade a new but hidden holotape will be placed in the characters inventory.

In regards to restrictions, some options in the network will not be shown unless conditions are met. One restriction is that services options will not appear unless the player has purchased the services upgrade. Futhermore, if you are not allied with a faction you cannot go in reinforcements from that faction. Please note that the Minutemen are excluded from this as they are not considered a major faction by ArkCorp. There will be lore set up to explain this in future.

Planned Features

  • Supply drop - Order and drop supplies to your location.
  • Power Armor drop - Drops unmodded basic power armor to your location.
  • Reinforcement drop - Deploys human allies to your location. Based on faction options.
  • Combat Operations - Deploys a turret or robot of your choice to your location.
  • [service] Request Transport - Same as vertibird travel but has a chance of vertibird not arriving and has cooldown. This can be due to being shot down on route, technical issues or not are avaible to be sent.
  • [service] Air Strike - Order Air Strike on target. Has a chance of air strike not arriving and has cooldown. This can be due to being shot down on route, technical issues or not are avaible to be sent.
  • [service] Safe House Access - Gives a one use key to allow access to one of the safe houses. Storage is safe but time limited access, so you have to be careful if you leave stuff in there. Comes with full crafting and modding stations as well as terminals for orderings supplies.
  • [service] EMERGENCY BEAMOUT - Hacks into and activates the delivery relay to beam the player to safety. Can only be used with an override token which is used on use. Returns the player to chosen safe zone. Has cooldown and token cannot be purchased only crafted.
  • [service] Remote Selling - You can remotely sell items to ArkCorp but at fixed rates and for less then what you would if you had gone to a trader.

Possible Features

  • Store Credit - Requires you to add money into your ArkCorp account, when purchasing the balance is taken away from your account instead of your caps. Account can be increased from Pipboy or ArkCorp terminal.

Reminds me a bit of the supply system in MGS:V.

Would be cool if a vertibird would drop a box with the ordered supply in it... but quite useless when indoors.

I was thinking Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction when I started this in which a helicopter would drop a supply crate to you in the field when you ask.

I want to use a vertibird to do the same thing. For in doors I was thinking of using a relay like the grenade but not sure at the moment, might just make it impossible indoors or some kind of brought upgrade.

I'll expand on the opening post when I get on tomorrow.

This reminds me of a mod I used with FNV, Pip-phone I think it was called.  Was an easy way to sell off goods and gather your needs as it's not so easy to manage your items.  This could help a lot for some.  Good idea and thanks. ^^

I know the mod Underground Player Hideout had something like it built into it. You would order what you wanted and a couple of days later it would be in the delivery box just outside. I have plans for this mod, but its just getting the engine to do what I want.

Some screenshots of the menus. These menus are WIP and will be changed at a later date.

Most of the menus are in, there just don't lead anywhere as they are not connected to each other.
