Ark of Truth Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 I am making a custom companion in Fallout 4 for a friend of mine which is going to use my own voice. I need some recording software other then the bad generic one I found on a disc at home. Any suggestion are welcome
davisev5225 Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Any recording software that can capture a WAV file will do fine. What you really need is a good microphone and good editing software. (Sorry, I don't have recommendations for either, though I personally use a Blue Yeti microphone.)
Guest Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Audacity is a wonderful free tool to handle audio. You can record (but use a good microphone, and a quite room) the voice and then trim the file quickly to the actual voice part. You can also export it in the correct format for the game (in case is Skyrim: mono, 16 bit, 42KHz or 48KHz)
