lindazana Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I have not played skyrim for a while of late, and, after getting a few mods...all of them for armor, not gameplay or environment changing ones. upon loading my game, I see my fires now are hell-bent on killing my brain. To put image to my words, here are two screen shots, taken one right after the other. Â Â Now, imagine the second one flicking on and off several times a second. This effect is on, at least, campfires and torches held by guards. I am unsure what other fires it may efect, as I had to quit before getting sick. Any advice, Oh wise forum..?
Kraxon Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I didn't such a glitch yet, but I doubt that has something to do with armor mods. I had glitches when my grafics driver was updated, that were similar in their magnitude, now that I think of. Maybe the cause is some grafics card issue. Have you tried turning the anti aliasing off? Maybe that does something.
lindazana Posted June 25, 2012 Author Posted June 25, 2012 I apologize for the long delay, had a recent, unwanted break from the internet. turning off anti-aliasing in the options menu of the launcher solved this problem! Thank you VERY much. I can now play again!
Kraxon Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 No problem. I just guessed. I am happy I could help you with it.
Mephisto_VI Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 Its not the armor mods, I don't have any armor mods and got the same thing. All I did was change from full screen to windowed mode then back and had this happen. Glad to know there is a fix, though how the heck anti-aliasing got turned on to begin with is beyond me (I've always had it disabled...)
