SlapMeSilly Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 How to fix the "c0000005" error, commonly caused by incorrectly configured system settings or irregular entries in the Windows registry. Hope this helps The way that site/download looks, looks suspicious. Might be totally ok but who knows. I had the 0xc0000005 error coming up before for another application though. It was resolved by using CCleaner from pirform (free one works fine) to clean the registry. Normally I do not recommend registry cleaning unless you know what you're doing because things can go wrong. The page I found details on was best-fix-the-application-was-unable-to-start-correctly-0xc0000005 down on Method #2. The newer versions of CCleaner look slightly different but it should be pretty straight forward what to choose.
