Blerbler Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 I'm terribly inept with computers, and I don't have a good grasp of mods. But some of the ones available for New Vegas make me want to fire that game up again. Is someone willing to walk me through the Total Idiot's Guide to installing Loverslab mods? I know certain mods require other mods to be installed first, but I don't have a good understanding of how get mods going or how to manage them. Is there some base I need to install first of all? And to clarify my intentions, I want to try msex Fort Slavery, msex Veronica D/s, and msex Courtesan. I also wouldn't say no to better hair options, and maybe more outfits, but I guess this isn't the site for that.
gregathit Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 First: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/30292-tutorial-fomm-installation-and-first-activation/ Then: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/7727-sexout-faq-read-this-to-get-started/ Google is also your friend as there are plenty of videos showing how to install mods. As to "requirements".....well, if a mod requires something to work, it lists it under "requirements" and you need to make sure you have installed that. Unfortunately, there is no "follow these exact steps" guide, as there are just too many mods out there for that. Some are compatible with what you may want to run, others are not. And yes, there are a shit ton of both hairs and armors/clothes/weapons here. Just look in the downloads section. What isn't here is at the nexus. Between the two sites, you should be cover all the bases that you mention.
Guest Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 get FOMM from over here to manage all the stuff get ArchiveInvalidation from nexus get NewVegasAntiCrash get NewVegasStutterRemover get 4gb NewVegas get NVSE from silverlock install the nexus stuff manually install FOMM, run it, open it's tools tab and deselect ArchiveInvalidation go to FONV's directory open ArchiveInvalidation and select activate go to FOMM re-select ArchiveInvalidation (doing that is important. do not skip that) go to FONV's directory and send to desktop (make a shortcut) 4gbNewVegas then go get MCM & Weapon Mod Menu thats how i lay the groundwork. dealing with sexout for the very first time is very confusing btw- its a different animal than sexlab. for sexout youll need NewVegasScriptExtender-Extender too then youll gather some mods foe the SexoutCommonResources. the latter imo is a bitch so pay lots of attention to the topics on setting SCR up
