Sanguine as a Follower/Spouse

So while playing as a Succubus I had turned off all my marriage and adoption mods off because I didn't think I'd see my PC as the type to marry. Then I saw a video of being able to make Sanguine your follower and even marry the drunken bastard. And since I've NEVER been able to get SD+ to work, might as well have him as a spouse after doing the vanilla quest line.

My question is, (I use AFT) what kind of fighting/combat style should I have for him? I do not want him to be a "house husband." I want him to follow me and my band of merry and or angry Orc followers. I am for the first time playing as a Mage - which is weird because I'm used to charging into battle with my heavy armor and two handed great sword. My two other followers are sword and board. Should I change one to Archery? I have no idea what to do with Sanguine once I've cheated and make him my follower and possibly spouse. I kinda want him to be my main tank but, I downloaded a mod made Orc that is one. So.....what do you all think? Straight up tank? Or is he useless as a follower? I just love his look and would love for him to be my Succubus's main lover/main follower.

Thoughts, ideas, and builds would be appreciated.

Well... I don't think he'd fight for you, I mean, tank would accurately describe most daedric princes, but I can't imagine he'd enjoy partaking in violence so much as the celebrations afterward. Sanguine doesn't seem to be one to be tied down either, it'd be more like a drunken tryst whenever you crossed paths.

I like the idea, perhaps "spouse" might be a bit far fetched, but I could imagine for a lesser demon (succubus) trying to hang around with the big guns, trying to trick them into doing her bidding and/or syphoning some of their power, until she's their equal/superior (in which case "spouse" actually works :)).

As for the fighting style. I'd imagine Sanguine to be a trickster, casting spells* from the shadows, watching how the events unfold.

*Less damaging spell, perhaps something like the wabberjack, but more to his tastes.

True. Now that I think about it tanking really wouldn't be his thing. I think I can make him fight for me using AFT, not sure though. But I like the idea of having him around for fun.

I like the idea of magic! And well yeah in regards to the whole "spouse" thing, they'd have and open marriage or at least my PC will be open to super-happy-fun-times with about most of the people in Skyrim and he'll just have to deal with it. :D Once I finish his quest and force him to follow me via console....errr...I mean when my succubus uses her irresistible sexual powers to seduce him into following her then we'll see what he can do. ;)

Alrighty. So I finished the "A Night to Remember" quest, did some other quests, side quests, and had my PC sleep for four days straight. I can't find Sanguine. I read that he is "roaming around Morvinskar" after you complete his quest. I've searched inside and outside and the Daedric bastard is no where to be found. How long does it usually take for him to show up and where exactly can I find him in Morvinskar?

I tried the "placeatme" console thingy but, his ID's NEVER work. I've tried both base and the other and have had zero success with that.

I'm determined to have this goofy drunk as a follower and possibly husband for shits and giggles. I'd appreciate any help. LONG LIVE THE LORD OF DEBAUCHERY!

(...)After completion of quest A Night To Remember, you may find him roaming around Morvunskar, killing every mage he can find. Since he is essential, he will always win.
PC Only This bug is fixed by version 2.0.0 of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch.(...)

So yeah, he gets disabled once you are teleported out of Misty Grove. If you want him around again you can simply use prid 2e1f3 and THEN use enable > moveto player. Hope this helps you out.

I keep getting

"Uknown variable '2e1f3' for parameter Integer (Optional)".

:(

EDIT: This is quite odd. I tried it again and still got the error however his info, base ID, and all his extra info showed up on my UI just like when you click on an NPC. I typed "moveto player," did not get an error, and when I exited the console, my PC bit someone that wasn't there (I have Deadly Drain installed.) I started clicking around and nothing. I was at an inn, exited it to see if he would appear after the loading screen but, he did not. This time, while outside, I typed "player.moveto 0002e1f3" and it sent me back to the inn.

So, it's like he's there, stuck, and invisible. O_o

OH MY, I just realized that I made a teeny tiny mistake up there, oops.
It's prid 2e1f3 THEN enable THEN moveto player.

I feel so stupid now... I'm so sorry.

No! Don't say that. We all make mistakes. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me with this. :)  I'll go try it out right now. *fingers crossed*

Sanguine is so great to have as a follower. I haven't had a chance to go into battle with him along side me yet since I've been mostly at the College of Winterhold but, on our journey there and while at the location he has had nothing but the funniest comments at the appropriate times. I'm so happy!

Would be a really nice Idea for a Follower Mod. Perhaps with him changing into Sam, when in cities...

I don't know, I love the way he looks. But, perhaps if someone made one of those "smart" followers and he would change into Sam and challenge people at inns to drinking contents and he'd slur after, dance with a mug of ale in one hand, sing along with the bard, etc. That would be pretty funny. Also maybe he'd occasionally challenge you via dialogue and he came with quests and the two of you would black out and wake up somewhere like in "A Night to Remember." Oh! And giving him booze increases his stamina! Fun!

Oh, dear. Sanguine is not leveling up at all. He's been stuck at level 1 since I got him. I've leveled up 3 times and he has not while my other two followers have. I use AFT and have it on auto. I tried manual but, everything is set to 50 as max. :(

He fights and doesn't die but, he's pretty useless as part of the team. I'm still keeping him because he's funny company.
