Idea for better interaction with NPCs

Hi,

I played FO4 yesterday and realized that it's funny how unrealistic situations in the bars are. My player got drunk in a slutty red dress and nobody commented on it nor commented on it. Being drunk gives the player a funny voice, but leads to nothing. Slutty dresses lead to nothing. In a better world the npcs would've commented on both of these things. Especially after I annoyed a npc by continuously talking to her while being wasted and telling her that she's a bitch. Where is the person to interfere and throw my player out? No fist fight? Who offer's a sexy lady a drink? Who makes fun of a drunk or tries to take advantage of her situation or give the advice to stop drinking in that state?

Adding a framework that starts interaction with the player due to his clothing style, drugs, radiation and pretty much anything, would make this lame-ish game so much better and could than start fight, sex, dance or even kidnapping scenarios. There are no limits...

In case you're a coder and need inspiration: I wrote this with you in mind. I'm too stupid and inpatient for this kind of project.

That's pretty much it. :) Thanks to everyone who mods. I've had loads of fun thanks to your hard work!

I agree Npc's are and most likely will always be weak in Bethesda games. It takes money and time which seams to go against there philosophy of we need to get out the next game rather than make a really good game. My understanding is there last few in this series were rushed. Thats what happened to new Vegas which is why a lot of stuff got cut or left out. I mean FO4 is already dead to them except for Creation club which is the opposite, it is invasive and well thought out for them to grab your dollar. But it appears to be staggering do to lack of support from players.

Interesting idea. I've also given a lot of thought to ways to make NPCs more autonomous. But, hadn't really thought of a bar scenario like that.

I have my hands full at the moment. When I get to the autonomy stage of my mod I will keep this in mind.
