Klauser57 Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Hello.I am modding Skyrim from scratch currently and noticed a mismatch around the neck.Which is weird, because I am not using any face mode. Here is cbbe with fair skin : I then checked with cbbe only (I have absolutely no other skin mod), and even then it is still present : I use mod organizer.I reinstalled cbbe, making sure not to click on the face option but it doesn't fix anything. I tried texblend but it made it worse. I only use enb for enboost. The bug is present with and without the injector running. Could someone help me?
Rayblue Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Because it operates differently, in MO you should order the left side (the mods list) this way: CBBE (any face/head mesh mod) Fair Skin Complexion Otherwise you have a mod conflict where one mod overwrites another. Note the green pluses and the red minuses.
Klauser57 Posted October 12, 2016 Author Posted October 12, 2016 I do know about overwrites.I already started the game with absolutely no visual mod installed, just cbbe and it was the same.Just cbbe and fair skin gives the very thin/faint line too.I do not know what to do about it, because there is absolutely no mod that is conflicting.
Guest Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 I recently dumped caliente's beautiful bodies and started using "body by Leito". At first I used both, and then I wondered why I was using both, so I dumped one. I won't pretend to know how to help, but the overall look is great in my game. I went wild with sweaty tattooed skin, which was sort of unnecessary (My game character sweats like a pig) but it proves to myself that stuff works without CBBE
yatol Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Hello.I am modding Skyrim from scratch currently and noticed a mismatch around the neck.Which is weird, because I am not using any face mode. Here is cbbe with fair skin : ScreenShot12.png I then checked with cbbe only (I have absolutely no other skin mod), and even then it is still present : ScreenShot8.png I use mod organizer.I reinstalled cbbe, making sure not to click on the face option but it doesn't fix anything. I tried texblend but it made it worse. I only use enb for enboost. The bug is present with and without the injector running. Could someone help me? screen 1 : head don't match the body (some verticles are no longer where they are supposed to be, or weight were edited wrong) put an some armor to find out if the problem is the body replacer you use, or the head replacer you use screen 2 : textures or meshes mismatch that's what i have with demoniac msn for femaleold that don't match, went back to that settings of the meshes have to be the same for all body parts too, if you don't have the same glossinness as the head for that body, unzip skyrim bsa, you nif need those settings (armors have their own nude body with those settings, npc load their head from facegendata that have a head with those settings, messing with those settings that's only asking for troubles)
Klauser57 Posted October 12, 2016 Author Posted October 12, 2016 I just downloaded a new armor to check, and the slight scintillation with fair skin (white or black sometimes) around the neck is still there. I mean, I have no face mod.And I disabled every visual mods I had.Its only cbbe and fair skin installed now.I put fair skin files directly inside cbbe and I have the same result. I tried sg female texture and there is the same issue. For the screen 2, it was only with cbbe and basically nothing else.It is a fresh installed Skyrim that I am currently modding to play inside the rift.So I haven't messed with anything at all.I appreciate the technical help but since I haven't touched anything I don't think I am supposed to mess with bsa and such, as I am not familiar with nifs and the likes. I do think the issue must be much simpler, because I would expect a simple installation of CBBE and body slide into a basically vanilla mod organizer to not give neck seams. Can files inside the overwrite folder cause issues like these?
