Turns out you just need to keep fire salt in your inventory, and when you try to remove the facehugger from your face, an option which says apply fire salts will appear, just press that option and the facehugger will be unequipped at the cost of 1 fire salt. 1

I am using Skyrim SE GOG version 1.6.1179 and I am having a very specific issue that I am not sure is related to SLP itself or to another mod interacting with it. In SLP, I am having problems with only two parasites: Tentacles Living Armor Both of them do not visually appear on the character. What happens: The parasite is active in the inventory The game correctly detects it Any armor using body slot 32 is unequipped Scripts run normally But the parasite mesh is invisible I have: Built everything correctly in BodySlide Confirmed meshes and outputs Tested without other armor mods Tested different bodies Important detail: The ONLY moment when the tentacle and living armor appear 100% correctly is: When I start the game Load my save The character appears with the parasite fully visible After ~10 seconds, it disappears completely This happens every time: It appears only right after loading the save Then disappears permanently Reloading the save again does NOT bring it back Only restarting the game makes it appear again temporarily I have spent a lot of time testing mod by mod and I still cannot find the cause. Has anyone seen this behavior before or knows what could be removing the Living Armor and Tentacle visuals after load? Thank you very much for your time, and I wish everyone a great New Year

It's a great mod though, well done, I love it. Looking at the script, you should be able to drop the saw, equip nettlebane, and pick up the saw again to trigger the quest update.
Aya2321 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Okay, so a little bug report, or something like that. im playing a female character, but i am also using the mod "Pronouns" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/106054) and had set it to they/them. this broke the quest progression as Danica treated me as a male character, but setting the pronouns mod to default fixed that. besides this little hiccup on my end, the mod has been working more or less flawlessly. and i just wanted to report this because it made me laugh when i figured it out. i dont expect you to fix this, as it is 1: very niceh. and 2:very easie to solve. but im adding it in case others use both mods and get a similare situation. 1

Thanks for reporting. I wouldn't know how to start fixing that anyway. Short of removing all gender checks from the mod and even then, that would be a huge amount of work to write a new story for other genders than female. Edited January 9 by DeepBlueFrog

I should be in a position to check about the powers soon. i am at the part where they ask you to activate your armor and mask via the eggs but theres no power that does that, its everything BUT the armor and mask.

Or do I need both for them to work correctly? 2- Regarding the parasites, is there any animation for the facehugger or animation for giving birth? 3- I use Pandora, does your mod work normally? From what I understand, Pandora supports FNIs mods, but I would like to confirm if yours runs perfectly. 4- I saw that there is a need for the Estrus Chaurus mod for tentacle scenes. I used EC in the past and it had a bug where the screen would become blurry after the scenes and the makeup wouldn't come off, so I've avoided installing EC since then. Is EC really necessary or can I use your mod without EC? 5 - My protagonist tends to aim for the submissive route. Is there a possibility of remaining a brood slave to the Chaurus, or will the protagonist eventually become the dominant queen for them? 6 - Is there a way to avoid transformation? I prefer my protagonist to remain human without transforming or having any visual mutation. I ask this because I saw some pictures of the Spriggans and thought there might be some kind of transformation in the mod.

EC started off as optional but I need to change the description page to say that, while not having EC will not block you from finishing the quest, it will also make you miss a big part of the experience. The mod is meant to make the player experience irreversible mutations. It doesn't go to forcing you to become a full chaurus or anything like that, but if you do become the Queen, be prepared to be transformed. 1

No. At this time, the Chaurus Queen is an irreversible change. I thought that was explained in the journals you can find throughout the quest but I found I need to add more warnings about the point of no return in the quest stages and through Danica. I am also thinking of adding an option to tone down some of the effects to allow you to continue quests while you hide the extend of your transformation.

When running v 1.6.1170 estrus doesn't work, and seems unlikely to be udpated, or I've not found a way to get it working. if there was a way to prevent the animations from starting, it would be possible to use keep the the living and tentacle parasites enabled for the mod. I posted a reply initially but I just noticed you posted this in the LE version of the mod. Alex00JG Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Hello, I am facing quite an issue…..I downloaded the Sexlabs Parasites Kyne’s Blessing and I am facing something pretty bad….. When I use my power of Chaurus Armor and mask….. I get the mask no issues but when I get the Chaurus Queen Armor from the power it does not show up on my character’s body even though it is equipped…. All I see are Nipple Piercings and the plugs after equipping….. I use CBBE 3BA with Bodyslide and also downloaded the Parasites CBBE 3BA conversions…..Still no visible armor….. I don’t know if anyone will see this….but if you do let me know what I am doing wrong.
