Many students and professors at the College of Winterhold marveled at the skills shown by Fender during his training there. So Fender was like “alright I’ll use this as an excuse, like who the fuck is Marcurio and why is he contacting me now, ok fine I’ll go”. So while Fender actually went to Riften to find ‘his lost half-brother’ Marcurio (disclaimer: they’re actually half-brothers) he was actually using this as an excuse to find his sexy ‘sexy toy’ that got away from him.
