Sporadic Crashing

Hello,

I have recently returned to Skyrim Sexlab after about 9 months absence. I have updated mods / downloaded new ones that took an interest, however I am getting sporadic crashing. I'd rather not delete all mods and start again as I have bodies setup the way I like them and a fairly comprehensive library of clothes that I'd like to keep (sadly installed manually rather than with an organisor!)

 

As such, I suspect I have one or more mods that are either now redundant or I've just got stuff that ins't compatible with one another.

 

If someone could look through my load order and point out any glaring problems it would help and be really appreciated as I'm at a bit of a loss as to why the save (new character with this mod set) loads occasionally, but more often then not CTD's.

You have several mods that use cloaks to scan cells. These will wreak havoc on most computers when they are used together. That's also straight up a lot of mods to use, if your computer isn't very good. These are problems that plague me when trying to play Skyrim. It got so bad last night, that my computer didn't even shut down until I got out of bed less than an hour ago and forced it to shut down.

Wow, fast reply thank you! which ones do you recommend removing? or choosing between?

In terms of computer strength: It's a high end 6 core system with 32gb ram running a titanx so I don't think hardware limitation itself is an issue (perhaps how syrim uses whats available though?)

The above will certainly do it.  I love warzones, but switched to Civil War Overhaul as I could not get my game stable with WZ.

 

Also, check all your mods.  You appear to have multiple versions of some things:

Also, did you need this?  I don't know what PO is, but if you don't have it, you don't need the patch.

The game is 32 bit.  So you are capped and not going to use all that ram.  At least not until the 64 bit version is release later this month.

Yep it is the compatibility patch for prison overhaul.

However much I look at my install I'm beginning to think a total reinstall is going to be the only way to solve the issues: LOADS of old orphan files, random scripts and bits, all leaving my current install at a nice bloated 47GB

would you post your left pane please? you're using MO i'm assuming. the log is

C:\Games\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Mod Organizer\profiles\[name]\modlist.txt

 

there's been a number of mods that have come out recently that you might not know about that replace your current ones as obsolete, and load orders just suck at being able to decipher what you've installed

Appreciate the help, however I ended up deleting all and reinstalling as I had multiple versions and obsolete files left right and center that made any sort of establishing of order impossible. As such ALL my mods are now installed with MO instead of a mixture of manual, NMM, and MO.

 

Have got a basic sexlab/defeat setup running and rather than use UNP BBP I gave CBBE BBP another go: seems to be working nicely: just need to bulk out my armor collection a bit more and add a few more sexlabby bits now and I'll be set.

Any recommendations on what is currently good and stable for sexlab content and CBBE BBP armors that add to level lists?

HDT > TBBP > BBP   

 

i prefer very little in the way of armor mods so my recommendations are super short. here you go:

Remodeled Armor for CBBE Bodyslide TBBP HDT

Arshes Nei Bikini for CBBE Body w HDT w BodySlide

Selene by Neo (with optional bodyslide from another mod)

Legendary Armors - DeserterX Collection

Unique Dragon Priest Masks

i believe i picked the armors that are bouncy right out of the box (although i believe selene needs bodyslide run)

 

i tend to 'zap' the panties of the first mod, since, well...uhm...landing strip

 

as for sexlab stuff? uhm...i just go with the usual devious devices stuff (assets/integrated/expansion) and zaz...i'm sure you're familiar with them. ahhh..there's some bouncy version of that stuff but for now i'm staying away from both of them.
