Wierd seams

Hey guys. I haven't played skyrim in like a year and decided to play some more now that I have some free time. Problem is I uninstalled my skyrim and now I am catching up on mods.

I have encountered a very weird problem. I installed XPMSE and bodyslide and all the updated stuff which I haven't had a chance to read all the documentation on. My problem is my character has seams at the wrists, the neck and the feet. I tried installing the old XPMS skeleton and tried all sorts of installing and reinstalling mods but the problem keeps persisting.

Now I am trying a reinstall and installing only XPMSE, a body mod (no bodyslide for now), and SG textures.

Anyone know where the problem could be?

I am using an old save and I am currently in the testing hall.

Best to upload screenshots of said problem as no one likes doing the guessing game. Just make sure to upload the screenshots in JPEG format and if they are in BMP make srue to use paint net to convert them to JPEG and also make sure to put them under a spoiler tag.

One cause could be that you are using hands from one body type with a different body type. Not all hands and feet are compatible with all bodies.

OK here is a very basic setup, fresh save, XPMSE, Milkdrinker and 7B bombshell and HDT Physics.

It's slightly harder to see since I'm currently running the game in windowed

I've discovered that some textures don't have this issue or is not as noticeable ex: Fair Skin Complexion.

But I'm trying to recreate my old char and I swear this was my setup... I think.

Also the issue is much more jarring when using bodyslide. I found that one of the reasons is because NMM does not copy over the hands and feet meshes only the body meshes for some reason.

I'm not completely noob at this. I've actually converted some armors in 3ds max and edited my own textures. But It's been a long time and I can't remember shit about how any of this works.

For texture mismatch which is what it looks like to me you have to make sure that all textures are from the same set as they are usually made to work together and all textures should match to prevent texture mismatch. If you mix and match textures you will end up with what looks likes seam but are in fact 2 different textures being used from 2 different files. So check and make sure all textures are from the same set.

Yes I checked that I even hand placed them. I am beginning to think that this is simply how skyrim works.

I actually checked screenshots from SG Textures and Real Girls textures and the seams are there. So I probably just didn't notice them before.

I can't show my players hands as her body texture has been heavily modified by tattoos but her neck and feet textures are pretty much seamless but her hands were also seamless till I modified her body texture. There maybe minor texture mismatch with some sets it depends on how well the author blended the seams and it also depends on lighting ENB and other things that might alter how the textures look.
