Longer upper left message durations?

I was looking for a way to increase the duration of the messages that display at the top left of the screen. Mainly the messages from any of the lovers mods I have. I searched and I found this this thread http://www.loverslab.com/topic/15320-message-duration/ and it talked about altering a MenuQue.ini. I have this installed but there is no ini file that I could find. I read the instructions for MenuQue and it said it would create the ini file if needed. I suppose it hasn't found a reason to do so yet.

 

Is there a way to make it need/read the ini file?

Ensure MenuQue.dll is installed @ data\OBSE\plugins and check the obse.log file (located in the root folder of the Oblivion install) to verify MenuQue.dll loaded properly.
