I thought I would repost my proper reply to another outdated question of my own. things have got more serious since I had naked guards to worry about.

after a complete reinstall of the game and all my mods. I ran fnis one last time for luck and then Loot. I cleaned the update, dawnguard, heathfire, dragonborn esms with TES5edit following Sacramas's instructions. I cleaned the mods that Loot pointed at too. brows, eyes of beauty. sorted my load order with Loot. manually then placed Amorous Adventures last instead of halfway where Loot puts it. started a new game. everything fine. all mods working.  until my new character and Ralof are walking down the hill from the stones. ctd . I try again. this time the ctd happens when my character and Ralof are about to fight the wolves on the way to Riverwood.

I used the steam " verify game file cache " out of habit.   5 files were missing. ? ? ?    that's on a new install.  loaded my save game and  as my character and Ralof reached the point where the wolves attack.    ctd again.     I really don't know what to do any more.

I have the latest versions of SKSE FNIS SKYUI Racemenu and Bodyslide installed.

my load order.

Try rebuilding your Remodeled armors in Bodyslide. One time my game always crashed when encountering one particular armor (@ the companion/giant encounter before whiterun). I invested hours in finding a solution... In the end i just deleted the armors from overwrite and rebuild the armors (i think i reinstalled Remodeled Armors too) and had no more crashes...

Additionally you should make a bashed patch via Wrye Bash.

Well, your log shows uninstalled file fragments, like "Hoth Follower", "UFO", "Unofficial patches (not usleep)", and some more ...

When you use "nexus mod manager", uninstalling mods does not remove all mod files, and fragments remain in the "data" and "skse" folders, even reinstalling skyrim ...

You should delete them manually before installing skyrim ...

Mod organizer does not give you this problem, because it does not insert files into skyrim folders.

And as the "hexenhaus" said, you need to make a bashed patch.
