I actually tried out the file they had up from a couple months ago. The area is incredibly huge. It's probably bigger than Zion, or at least on par with that in size. The variety in it is another story. The forest, then the city (I think Santa Monica? not sure), a Vault, a BEACH which was pretty cool, though I'm not sure if that's going to be in the finished product.

That's another of those mods I kept on my radar, but prefer to remain reasonably optimistic (pessimistic?) about, given the sheer size and ambition of it.

 

Of course, I'd be *positively* thrilled if it ever saw the light at the end of the tunnel, but people have lives, school is school, taxes have to be paid at the end of the day, and all that stuff.

Yes... if I had time, I would be adding clutter and small bits of scenic detail for them, to help make their emptiness "feel real".

They have a fan page on facebook. Updates regularly. I've actually contributed a few ideas through there, project lead made me feel awesome by loving some of my suggestions. I believe they're almost ready to go into playable beta.
