mayatola Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Thank you for this. Oh, there also seems to be some extra files in the latest version upload as well. In the meshes/actors folder, there is character, character assets, and ygnord. The character assets and ygnord folders are unnecessary as the ones that are used by the mods are under meshes/actors/character. So meshes/actors/character/character assets and meshes/actors/character/ygnord are good, but meshes/actors/character assets and meshes/actors/ygnord are unnecessary.
Guest Vendayn Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 I'll add this to the front page, as well. If you get "Forbidden", when viewing the screenshots. Just refresh the link and it will show up. Works on Firefox/Chrome on my end. Internet Explorer had me refresh the link, however.

I'm really curious how those textures look like . Tested with IE, the same Forbidden error. Could you post the pics somewhere else or try to repost them? Steam links would be OK as well ^^".

You might wanna use Steam to upload and link the pics .
Guest Vendayn Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Attachment links added to the first post. But, I don't think I'll use Steam to upload them however. I assume they are strict about nudity, like Nexus is. I don't want to risk my Steam account being banned. Should be good enough, in any case.
Guest Vendayn Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Since it has been a while that I've even visited the forums...figured I give this a bump. I stopped playing Skyrim for a while, due to other games (so many games I have...one of my good friends has tons of games and has trouble finishing just one Me and him are creepily similar lol)...and I have a habit of getting more and more games, like he does. I did however, finally finish Oblivion That was about 3 weeks ago...and I've had the game...since release...did the main storyline in FO3 finally about 4-5 weeks ago. And to be honest, I have more fun playing the games like an open world sandbox, with some large gameplay+graphics mods to it. Which is why it took so long to beat them. I will say this. Your results may be different than mine, but this mod "seemed" to increase CTDs rather heavily. At least on top of other performance problems I was having. It does, however, look amazing. Granted...that was the other reason I stopped playing Skyrim...and this mod may be fine...but I just had so many mods, and my game crashed so much. I would take literally 15-20 steps and crash. Go to a city. Crash. Fast travel. Crash. Pass a waterfall. Crash. Even when using Wrye Bash and all that jazz. So I went with the same exact approach I did with Fallout 3 and later, Oblivion...less overall mods, but the ones I have, make much larger gameplay changes/additions. And as of now, I very rarely get CTDs in all three games. Seems on every system I have, anything above 75 esps+esms and the game CTDs go WAY up for all of Oblivion/Fallout 3 and Skyrim. And 75 seems to be really pushing it as is. I myself, probably won't use this mod again. Having the .esp, which I never had the time to look what was in it, actived, just made the game crash on character creation. No matter what mods were active or on a fresh install. Was fine without it being active. But as for the bump, I'm sure many people would like this mod. Don't really want to see it disappear. Since one can make some (in my opinion) really nice looking characters with it. One of them I'll share here...I personally won't be using her again, so instead of her "disappearing", may as well share how I made her. Same character I posted on imgur, linked on original post. If you can't see the screenshots for some reason (and I gave some advice on how to, so if that doesn't work, can't personally really help...its a common image site on this forum, or was)...you can however take the "gamble" and make her in-game The character was used with the newest version of this mod. Settings should look good for others, with maybe a few tweaks needed. The settings I used for my later characters, and are my "base" for all of them. *note: No screenshots included, I like the old-fashion count each time I move a slider...generally from left to right (unless otherwise noted). I personally do not like screenshots with only sliders, because it takes me ages to get the exact position of slider from screenshot...and I have to alt-tab in and out of the game repeatedly. So, sorry for those that want screenshots, but that is not how I do my character settings.* *note: Also, I have a lot of settings written down, but this should be the correct one. If it looks different, let me know...I know its either one or another. Hey heck, might as well post both...add some variety. What you will get, no body knows. * Setting 1 (I wrote down the character as Amy, which I used a lot.) Skin tone: 9 (from right to left) Weight - 2 (from right to left, but you can adjust this to acquired taste. I think I used something different later, but didn't write it down) Nose type - 3 Nose height - 11 (from right to left) nose length - 2 Jaw width - 3 Jaw height - 2 Jaw forward - 2 Cheekbone height - 1 (this setting might be better something else, I could never see the difference, my eyes suck) Cheekbone width - 0 Eye shape - 5 (from right to left) eye color (I like blue eyes, and thought it fit best for her, you may like or see another fitting color) eye height - 0 eye width - 10 eye depth - 10 or 11 (a tiny change, but I mostly stuck with 10) brow type - 5 (I aimed for thin brows) brow height - 0 brow width - 2 or 10 (I wrote that down and think I ended up doing something different) brow forward - 2 mouth shape - 3 (from right to left) mouth height - 4 (from right to left) mouth forward - 2 chin width - 1 chin length - 0 chin forward - 9 (note: I saw, back when I was active, a lot of chin forwards being set very low. This makes the mouth have quite an overbite from looking at the side, and while looking a tad better from front view...it was horrible for anything else. This setting is what I stuck with for all my characters. It looks much better overall. Someone may have a different view point on this, and it is my opinion, but it was always a pet peeve of mine.) lip color (your preference, but for me, looks best with a subtle, pink lip coloring. Soft, and not dark/bright.) hair (the hair from the screenshots should come with the mod, I have the setting at "14", but if you have added hair, it may be different.) hair color (I aimed for a darker hair, I aimed for a black hair, but I stuck with one shade lighter. Purplish, black, I believe. If you have added colors, you can get a more precise look to how you want. Either way, your preference really.) ------------------------------------------------------------ And here is the second preset I have, that I know I liked a lot. Again, all my presets are roughly the same, I found one I like, and based everything else off it. And having said that, I just found a 3rd...but I am pretty sure that isn't what I used for this character. And in fact, looking through these settings, I believe this is what I used...the character "Isabella" (should be the one in the screenshots), I used quite a lot, and I think I stuck with these settings for her. Again, unless stated...its all left to right, as far as moving the sliders. Nose type - 3 nose height - 0 nose length - 6 jaw width - 4 jaw height - 3 jaw forward - 3 cheekbone height - 7 cheekbone width - 3 eyeshape - 14 eye color (blue, I aimed for a natural looking blue) eye height - 0 eye width - 10 eye depth - 11 (10 or even 9 probably works too) brow type - 5 (I aimed for thin brows) brow height - 0 brow width - 10 brow forward - 2 mouth shape - 3 (from right to left) mouth height - 5 mouth forward - 2 chin width - 7 chin length - 5 chin forward - 10 (9 works too) hair (14, depending on what order your hair is if you have added hair styles...easy enough to see the screenshot and the hair. Partly preference) hair color (I aimed for a darker hair, and went with purplish black. Black looks nice too) One of those two should match the character in the screenshots. Either way, the settings for both should be nice. And you can always tweak to your hearts content, if you aren't one of those that wants to copy someone elses character.
Gothfather Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 So I put skyrim aside over 1/2 a year ago, I have forgotten is CBBBLE compatible with BBP? Does it come with a BBP skeleton?
Guest Vendayn Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Well, this is a late reply. I hadn't really played or done anything with Skyrim in a while. I don't know if it is compatible with it, but it doesn't come with its own BBP skeleton. Could try adding the BBP skeleton and replace it with whatever comes with CBBBLE...I'm gonna give this a try and see if it works.
