I posted this in a thread in general discussion. But hey, why not just make a new thread.

 

The files are up on mediafire, so I dunno how long the links will work. I only have a paid account. If the links stop working, if enough people keep wanting to download CBBLE...I'll just re-upload them. I got CBBLE 2.46 from 3dm, and 2.47 was posted by Klaus I Love You in his own mediafire link.

 

I'm not sure how popular CBBLE is, or if it is even that well known...I don't actually see it talked about that much. But personally, it is my favorite body+face mod...and I usually end up going back to using it.

 

No screenshots currently, don't have time to hop onto Skyrim and take screenshots. But, feel free to post your own. If not, if this is popular enough, I'll take some time and get a couple screenshots.

 

A couple of things to keep in mind, before downloading CBBLE 2.46 + 2.47 (the patch for CBBLE).

 

1. CBBLE 2.46 comes out to be a little over 1gb in size. It is a huge mod, but compressed down a lot. It is crazy big. It also comes in two separate parts.

 

2. And the biggest problem...showracemenu is REALLY REALLY annoying with this mod. The game never crashes when you first make a character, but using CBBLE...if you use showracemenu, it will completely lock up the game. It isn't "loading" all the hairs and stuff either. I waited 15 minutes once, and it was still locked up. Usually if it works, you'll know in a minute or two (or usually less). Granted, if you are persistent...eventually you can get showracemenu to work. I always save before showracemenu and keep trying. Or I just don't bother with it. Once it took 7 or 8 times to get showracemenu to work. I was really annoyed. This is probably the biggest problem and the only thing I ran into.

 

If you can get past that, the body/face mod is actually (in my opinion of course) the best one. As I've said before on these forums, it's all in the eye of the beholder of course

 

Now...onto the download links. Again, I don't know how long the links will work for...or even how well liked this will be. But, if this makes even one person's game better, then great.

 

And again, you'll need both parts of 2.46. And actually, I don't know what got changed in 2.47, it has been a while and I can't find it on 3dm anymore. Granted, I haven't had time to look thoroughly. I think it is a patch or something for 2.46 or maybe makes the skin lighter? In any case, I'll post it too.

Second file is split, for the 200mb upload limit by Mediafire. The second file is very small. Keep in mind, the mod is over 1gb unzipped.

Keep in mind. Naked Khajiits and Argonians have very buggy textures. Namely, this invisible bikini-like shadow/texture is the most visible. All the "human" races should be fine, however. But, I haven't tested all of them.

Before I get to the main point of this update. You will almost certainly need LIVE ANOTHER LIFE, alternate start mod. The save takes place in the interior of a room that comes with Live Another Life. If you don't have it, you'll almost certainly CTD on loading the save. I'm not interested in making a save without it. Because going through the same "tutorial" over and over, I don't have time for or interested in doing. I could save outside the interior, but I would need to see if it breaks the main quest if I deactivate the mod. I'm pretty sure it will, since the beginning of the MQ is changed by the mod.

 

Also, you won't see the character until you choose an option to start out as (talk to the statue and sleep in bed). The mod author deactivated 3rd person for some reason, in the interior.

 

So again, you will need Live Another Life mod to use this save. I most likely won't make a save without it. Maybe someone else can if they want. Along with the files in CBBBLE. I recommend not activating the CBBBLE.esp however, as it causes CTDs for me.

 

So, on to the main point. Here is one of my characters in a save game. Someone requested her in a private message, so I thought I would post the save here. If anyone wants to use the character. You can see the two screenshots of her in an attachment just a few posts down (page 1).

 

Keep in mind, it isn't a 100% exact match. I changed brow type to one I always use now and the lip color is different. Maybe some other changes. I was using extended colors, but too many colors just made showracemenu crash (for me). So, I can't replicate the same lip color. The eyes may be a bit different too. In any case, should still be really close to the screenshots.

 

Let me know if the save doesn't work or has graphical problems. I deactivated almost all my mods that weren't needed for the character (except Live Another Life). So, there shouldn't be any reason for it to not work, if you have the required mods.

I use 7zip, and if you open part 1 and copy the files over...it will automatically copy part 2 at the same time. Just make sure they are both in the same folder.

No idea what the LE would stand for. I don't think it was mentioned in the 3dm thread for CBBLE.

 

I took a couple quick screenshots' date=' so you guys can see for yourselves. The only "problem" is it adds this dark, thick line under the eyes. Sort of similar to the Nidia face that adds those bags under the eyes, but not. I personally don't care either way, and like it, as it kinda fits Skyrim. But others may not. Can always try different face textures. May get a neck seam though.

 

Also, it seems when I was trying to create the character to show you guys...it kept crashing at the creator when switching to female nord. When I deactivated the CBBLE esp that comes with the mod, it went away. Then in game I did showracemenu (just once) and it didn't crash. So I don't know what is up with that. Actually, I don't even know what the .esp even does. I didn't notice anything different with it active or not. The 3dm page didn't say anything about it. Or I missed it with google translate, it doesn't always get everything. I got all the same character options with it not active, as I did it with it being active. I imagine it must do something. Probably can just look in creation kit once I get a chance. Or someone can.

 

Anyway, here they are...one sorta close up of the head/face and one further away. Not the best screenshots in the world, but oh well. You'll hopefully get the idea.

Yeah, the two main files have only two B's in them. The patch has the correction. I thought that was a bit funny looking. Edited the topic name, with the correction in it.

Well, it seems a lot longer than a month since I posted this. But, in any case...for those who may have missed this or been looking for it. Here is a bump to the top. All the links still work.

 

Don't know if there is a newer version out...supposedly there was a 2.48 preview or something not too long before I posted this topic. Not sure what came of that.

 

By the way, anyone actually know what comes with CBBBLE.esp? I am not home, or in a place I can easily download/use the creation kit, let alone download this mod. So I can't actually look. I honestly saw no difference with it active and not, so I assume it makes changes to the game in some way and not the character. All I know is the esp causes rather nasty crashing, when it is active.

Sadly, there are seams in the feet/hands. I think it is due to the latest Skyrim patch and it being made before it. I did a complete clean install (deleted everything), only installed CBBBLE (and live another life). And, in certain lighting and lighting...you can see this jacket-zipper-like seam on the feet and hands. The weird thing is, the right foot is fine...but there is a visible seam in the left foot. One of the hands is fine, and the other has a seam as well. So, not sure what is up with that.

 

Before the last major Skyrim patch, there were no seams at all. In any lighting. I would definitely have noticed, since I used CBBBLE so much.

 

So, if anyone uses this mod...just be warned, you may get this weird looking seam, in certain lighting. It isn't really too noticeable, but it is there.

Actually, I think it is the ENB lighting mod I'm using. Since every custom race, except vanilla races, that I've had is doing the same thing. And I just remembered someone else saying, that particular ENB mods cause the same "bug".

And someone requested a save of the character I posted in the screenshot. It can be found in the original post. But it made me realize I really need to organize my character gen settings (I write the good ones all down in a notebook)...because it took me too long, to find which settings and for which character I used.

 

But yes...feel free to download the save. Should work if you have the required mods for it. I deactivated almost all the ones not needed, so no reason for it to not work. Just be sure to have the required mods installed, or you'll probably CTD. Just be warned, CBBBLE.esp doesn't appear to be needed, and all it does is make Skyrim run horribly and CTD too much. At least for me.

Checking this out, but have noticed that khajit females cause ctd, is this common with this mod, or more likely conflicting with something?

Fine on my end.

 

However, Khajit and Argonians have very buggy textures with this mod. All the "human" races are fine (should be, I haven't tested all of them). Just the beast ones are buggy. I'll add this to the original post.

So I take a break from Skyrim for a while. See this thread is still alive and a new CBBBLE version is out...and now...

 

This is now easily my favorite body/face mod. Before, it was Monli race (I made an epic character from it...and technically, it is just a race, but meh)...and I didn't think a mod would come out to replace it. It would be a really hard sale to get me to use something besides Monli. But 2.48 has a very detailed body (at least to my eyes), and the nipples are much more my liking compared to 2.47. I didn't actually like the way the breasts looked (at least the nipples, since they were way too pink) in 2.47 personally.

 

So, here are screenshots I took. Nothing fancy, and took about 10 minutes to take them, not including creating the character. The hardest part was finding good lighting/shadows, since the ENB I use is rather dark in interiors.
