Can't apply more than 3 makeupoverlays in Racemenu

Dear Loverslab Community, 

 

this is my problem:

I cannot apply more than 3 makeup overlays in racemenu.

When i change the visibility from one to 0% the other makeups become clickable again.

But never more than 3 in summary.

I edited the nioverdrive.dll the get a total of 15 face overlays, they're there as shown but I can't get them to show.

Makeup is not an "overlay" - they are 2 different things.  You have a maximum of 15 colors you can set on various body parts (hence the "15/15" at the top of the menu, above the tabs).  They are the "makeup" category, along with body color, lip color, cheek color, etc.  Overlays (through nioverride) are a separate category of color options and do not count against this 15 limit, but they have their own limit through the NIOverride.ini.

 

Also, if I remember correctly, the 3 color limit on faces may be a hard limit, so even if you set all of the other colors (lips, body, etc) to "no color" (and you will see the count go down), you may still be limited to 3.  Not sure on this last part.

Thanks for the clarifcation. I managed to get it to work now. As u said I turned down some of the 15 colors (unnecessary colors in the "color" tab)  so I can get more makeup colors. I'm glad it works now.
