Sexlab mods cross links

Hi everybody

 

I'm thinking... we have splendid mods here on LL, but very independants...

 

It can be a nice thing to make them cross link, as a soft dependencie.

For example, you play a mod with another. If the another one is recognized, the cross link script begins (for example, talk and make a quest for th another mod NPC). If not, the mod stuff works with himself only.

 

There are already cross links, specially with SD+ (player death, and sanguine world). Simple slavery and Slaverun reloaded are the best examples.

Idea is to expand that to other mods.

 

I tried with TID, with Sexlab stories and captured dreams : it's not working very well. And Ravenous (linked to SD+ (player death by roasting alive)).

Actually it's a really simple thing to do that doesn't require a 'standalone patch' neither a dependancy, but only a bit of code in the various mod.

Then there's also specific mods that were created to share datas (mostly frameworks).

The fact is that one modder will go crazy if has to chainlink with all the net of mods out there, so most of the times they wait for evaluate specific request from the users.

 

 

 

 

 

To be honest I think that it's time to make a point and organize a bit of rework of the existing framework mods for the remastered version of Skyrim (considering the probable opportunity in term of code upgrade).

 

I mean:

SexLab -> SexLab + Aroused + SLSF

Devious Devices -> Zaz + DDa + DDi + DDx + Cursed Loot + other

Slavery -> SD+ + Paradise Halls (enhaced) + PAH extensions

etc.

 

 

If the basic systems have a common ground the connection will be managed by the frameworks itself, and the other mods will be automatically put in comunication.

 

But this will not going to happend

Actually the fact that would be a mess is something that make me think that it could be done somehow... at some point... somewhere...

Because modders are a sub-category of masochism in pornhub, everyone know that.
